Tucked in for the Night

Our drive was uneventful until the last stretch when we hit a storm with wind and heavy rain. We’re so grateful it wasn’t long-lasting, and we arrived safely in Cheyenne a little after 8 p.m. We enjoyed a special late dinner at a Mexican restaurant we’ve gone to a handful of times over the years, and the dinner was a gift from a dear friend (thank you :)).

Praising Jesus for a safe drive and looking forward to a restful night,
Sarah

The last time we stopped at this restaurant was probably three years ago, and the man we’ve interacted with remembered us.

“He directeth it under the whole heaven,
and his lightning unto the ends of the earth.”
Job 37:3

  1. Hope you have a great trip.

The restaurant you visited looks lovely, and I love the tasteful bright décor compared to the beige look of most restaurants. Also how delightful that the staff you interacted with remembered you.

  2. Thank you for this update, and I’m thankful you had safe travels (especially during the storm). How fun that the worker at the restaurant remembered you all. 🙂
    Love, Mrs. Patti

  3. Beautiful landscape. It must be exciting to visit somewhere you haven’t been for so long that hold lots of good memories.
    Glad you made it safely.
