Things shift in the bus. As Anna has said, if you open a cupboard, be prepared to catch. Same rule goes for the fridge.

We are here, folks!

“Strengthened with all might, according to his glorious power,
unto all patience and longsuffering with joyfulness.”
Colossians 1:11

Good Morning!

We are rolling along on I-70 just outside of Columbus, Ohio. Yesterday, the drive had its interesting aspects, with lots of rain, crazy traffic, and one close call. By evening, though, we had a quiet drive, being away from the rain and traffic. We switched to Eastern time, and stopped about 11:30 east of Indianapolis. We are so grateful for the Lord’s protection every mile of our journey. It’s easy to take accident-free miles for granted, but we shouldn’t.

The bus rumbled to life again about 7:20 this morning. This morning, in my Bible time, I was struck by this section: John 4:50: “Jesus saith unto him, Go thy way; thy son liveth. And the man believed the word that Jesus had spoken unto him, and he went his way.” The nobleman believed. He didn’t question Jesus; he simply believed! What an example to all of us.

Joyfully His,
Sarah

1391 Miles to Go!

After a great pack up, we’re off. We were close to departure, and we discovered the windshield wipers didn’t have any power. This was definitely a problem. But, the good news is it happened while we were at home and not on the interstate. Despite the pouring rain, the guys troubleshot and found the problem. Praise the Lord!

Nathan and Melanie brought us a delightful meal last night, which was a blessing. Then, we had dessert and Bible time at Christopher and Anna Marie’s. We also had time to do a photo shoot for a picture I need for the Moody book. Yes, I’m in the thick of things with Spring Days. 😉

This is not the picture we’ll use for the sketch, but it’ll give you an idea of what was going on. The cousins are a perfect age to be the Moody twins.

This trip was much easier to prepare for due to the fact we left quite a few things in the bus from our last trip. We are looking forward to the two upcoming conferences in Connecticut and New Hampshire.

GiGi’s Surprise Party

May 26 was GiGi’s 81st birthday. We decided to throw a surprise birthday party for her at our house. After church, everyone flew into action. The table was expanded and set, food heated, decorations put up, and brownies made–all came together quickly, and she was thrilled. Happy birthday, GiGi!
