t’s a cool, summer day here in New England. One thing I’ve found interesting is that it’s light here at 4:30 in the morning! Wow. We don’t have that back in Kansas. The early light has allowed workers to start working early. It’s been a joy to see the teamwork of so many hands pitching in to paint and help in various ways. Several times rain has halted work temporarily, but good progress is still being made.
Father’s Day was a restful Sunday, and we enjoyed a special day. How grateful we are for an amazing dad!
Our friends have provided such gracious hospitality. We’ve been blessed by our times of fellowship with delicious food and bountiful snacks to fuel the workers.
This past weekend’s conference in the little town of Greenfield was great. I’ll share more on that later. We’ll begin our trek back to Kansas tomorrow afternoon or Thursday morning.
