Friday afternoon, after a smooth load-in at the Expo, we drove over to the church where the evening’s sessions were held. Uriah is such a blessing. He is home-sweet-home in whatever place we park. We are grateful for the Lord’s provision.
That evening, my parents gave two sessions: Be Inspired! and Keeping Our Children’s Hearts. It was a blessing to talk to those who came and learn more about their families. We drove back to our RV park, and Anna made us delicious fruit smoothies.
The next morning, we awoke, refreshed and ready for the day’s activities. Beginning at 10, and ending at almost 4, Dad or Mom were always giving a session. We had plenty of opportunities to talk with those who came by our book tables, and the booth stayed busy. Working together as a team is a favorite activity of ours, and the Expo was no exception. What a joy!
Homeschool parents invest so much in their children’s lives. Some have an easier road, while others have to persevere through health challenges, a child with special needs, or many young children.
Parents shared how much they were blessed by my parents’ sessions throughout the day. It was a message that spoke to their hearts.
“No weapon that is formed against thee shall prosper;
and every tongue that shall rise against thee in judgment thou shalt condemn.
This is the heritage of the servants of the LORD,
and their righteousness is of me, saith the LORD.”
