Life at the RV Park

We arrived safely in Ft. Wayne last night. It was a pretty drive from Canada. We have a few days to work on projects (including two books!) before the Expo. The weather was gorgeous, and we are grateful for all the Lord allowed us to accomplish.

Spot Joseph, John, Anna, Jesse, and Mary. Hint: if you look closely, check the picnic bench to the left of the bus.

“But sanctify the Lord God in your hearts:
and be ready always to give an answer to every
man that asketh you a reason of the hope that is
in you with meekness and fear.”

  1. You guys always have such a good balance of work and rest! (But even during your ‘rest’ you are still working…on books etc!)

Looking forward to the post on ‘border excitement.’ 🙂

  2. So glad you arrived there safely and are enjoying beautiful weather. Here in Georgia today we had a perfect spring day! 🙂 That’s nice that you all have a few days to work on projects–the RV park looks peaceful. Continued prayers for you all. Love, Mrs. Patti 🙂

  3. An RV park couldn’t be a better place to work on projects. They are usually peaceful and have squirrels to watch. Anxious to see the next two Maxwell books.
    Enjoy your stay.

  4. Hi Maxwells,

I am so glad that the weather is peasant in Canada! I know you will all have a great time and bless others. On another note did you hear about the german family, who has previously been living in the US as refugees because homeschooling is illegal in Germany is being deported?
It was beautiful and we loved the city of Steinbach.
We had not heard about HSLDA losing the case. At least they will appeal. I hope every family reading this is a member of HSLDA. They are waging the war for the right to homeschool and we are very grateful for them. They need every homeschooler’s support.

  5. I live in Auburn, about 20 minutes north of Fort Wayne. I am so excited that you are in our area. I am hoping to make it to the homeschooling expo on Saturday. I would love to meet some of you. What are you doing for entertainment. Fort Wayne is a huge city with lots to do.
We hope you can make it. We all have work to do and have loved the quiet RV park here.

  6. That looks like a nice place to work on the books- I hope there is a new Moody book this summer!
    So do we!
