Simi Valley Part 2

Our normal Friday evening events (small business session, concert, and a message) were split between Sunday and Monday nights. Sunday morning, we enjoyed a special Palm Sunday service at Lighthouse. Then, mid-afternoon, we had Bible time with the W family. Their children are extremely personable and a joy to be around. After that, Joseph, John, Anna, Jesse, and Mary practiced music. I love to hear them. DSC_5678 DSC_5688 DSC_5700 DSC_5704 The potluck began at 5, and the gym was a buzz with activity while people enjoyed fellowshipping and eating. Some meandered outside. Mom sat on a picnic bench surrounded by a group of ladies. What a sweet sight! Ladies love her (we all do ;)). DSC_5709 DSC_5711 DSC_5720 DSC_5734 DSC_5743 DSC_5750

That evening, during the concert, we had one of our most enthusiastic groups ever. In between each song, we shared a personal testimony of what the Lord has done in our lives. After many songs, we took a break, and Dad shared an incredible, inspiring message. I marvel at the Lord’s goodness in giving Dad the words to say to each individual group. It thrills us to hear people say, “I was inspired!” after the conference. DSC_5758 DSC_5760 DSC_5773 DSC_5785 DSC_5793

Our hearts are full of what the Lord did Sunday evening. We love every opportunity we are given to declare Jesus!
