Our normal Friday evening events (small business session, concert, and a message) were split between Sunday and Monday nights. Sunday morning, we enjoyed a special Palm Sunday service at Lighthouse. Then, mid-afternoon, we had Bible time with the W family. Their children are extremely personable and a joy to be around. After that, Joseph, John, Anna, Jesse, and Mary practiced music. I love to hear them. The potluck began at 5, and the gym was a buzz with activity while people enjoyed fellowshipping and eating. Some meandered outside. Mom sat on a picnic bench surrounded by a group of ladies. What a sweet sight! Ladies love her (we all do ;)).
That evening, during the concert, we had one of our most enthusiastic groups ever. In between each song, we shared a personal testimony of what the Lord has done in our lives. After many songs, we took a break, and Dad shared an incredible, inspiring message. I marvel at the Lord’s goodness in giving Dad the words to say to each individual group. It thrills us to hear people say, “I was inspired!†after the conference.
Our hearts are full of what the Lord did Sunday evening. We love every opportunity we are given to declare Jesus!
“My heart rejoiceth in the LORD …”
