from beautiful Simi Valley. It’s a gorgeous, sunny day. We arrived safely at our “base camp” at Lighthouse Baptist Church yesterday afternoon. Our drive was uneventful, with only some wind at the beginning. We saw delightful scenery which included miles of orchards, grass-covered mountains, and flocks of sheep. Before entering the LA area, we went over the Grapevine, which is a pretty pass. I tried to capture some of it for you all with pictures. We stopped at a Flying J to fuel up, and the temperatures were cool with a strong breeze.
Thank you for praying for our safety. The frequent close calls we have are when semi-trucks stray into our lane. Often, they just are distracted with something.
This weekend is our final conference for the trip. Time has flown by!
Rejoicing in Jesus,
Sarah

We did that several years back.
I always enjoy seeing your scenery photos when you’re on the road…and I am always amazed by the quality because I know you take many of them through the window while Uriah is moving!
Just beautiful!! The pictures are lovely!
