Friday evening was our first round-table business session called “Making a Christ-Like Living in a Dog-Eat-Dog World.†The idea of self-employment interests many, especially in the homeschooling arena. At this session, we had: those who were self-employed, those who weren’t, and those who wanted to be. There was a great mix of businesses represented from a young lady who did cake decorating to a horse farrier to a man who sold wholesale speciality parts. The session went smoothly, and participants seemed interested in the discussions.
In addition, it was our first Inspire! conference. After music, we transitioned into the new session, “Be Inspired!†Dad did an awesome job as he shared. One family brought us delicious pumpkin muffins, which made for a special treat after the conference.
On Saturday it was a joy to see those whom the Lord had brought. The group of dads were open, receptive, and engaged in the men’s sessions. We are grateful to each family who took time to come to the conference.
Only for Jesus,
Sarah

“The LORD is my strength and my shield;
my heart trusted in him, and I am helped:
therefore my heart greatly rejoiceth;
and with my song will I praise him.”
Psalms 28:7
Thanks for this update! Precious photo of Mary and Anna. 🙂
Beautiful photo of Mary and Anna! Glad you are in good climate and enjoying the sun.
Teri, your hair looks so pretty! Are you styling it differently?
We can’t wait until the next conference near us that we can attend and fellowship with your family again!
