Snow Blessing

We received our first big snowfall this winter, and it was such a welcome gift, since the area has been in a drought.

Snow is nice. It’s pretty. It’s refreshing. But, think about this verse. “Come now, and let us reason together, saith the LORD: though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they be red like crimson, they shall be as wool” (Isaiah 1:18). I’m grateful for the incredible, amazing, undeserving, humbling gift Jesus gave: HIS life on the cross. His life’s blood cleansed and washed me whiter than snow. How awesome is that?

Love,
Sarah

You wouldn’t believe how wonderful the Aunties’ Park is when the slide is iced!

PS – We have a special resource announcement we’ll be making very soon. It’s not been mentioned on the blog, that I remember, so stay tuned!

“Purge me with hyssop, and
I shall be clean: wash me, and I shall be whiter than snow.”
–Psalms 51:7

  1. It is so awesome! Those verses, beautiful. And that first picture is simply priceless. 🙂
“But whosoever drinks of the water that I shall give him shall never thirst; but the water that I shall give him shall be in him a well of water springing up into everlasting life.” John 4:14

  2. What is making the dips in the snow in the 4th picture?

That is the top of our picnic table. It is a metal weave pattern and the dips are the open parts of the weave.

  3. The snow looks beautiful and the girls sliding on the ice must be as fun to watch for you as it is fun for them to slide.

    Blessings, Mrs. Mari
