A Bluegrass Christmas

For six weeks, we have been planning and preparing for a special Bluegrass Christmas Concert in our town. We rented a room in our local community center for the event. Monday afternoon, our set up team (aka: the family :-)) descended upon the community center. Everything came together, and we were excited to see who the Lord would bring. An awesome group of our neighbors and friends came, and we enjoyed fellowshipping with them before and after the concert.  It was incredible to see the Lord Jesus shine through Joseph, John, Anna, Jesse, and Mary as they shared through music and testimony. In addition, Nathan, Abby, Bethie, and Christopher joined in the music for a few songs with Nathan and Christopher giving testimonies too. I thought the music was amazing, and it was tastefully done. Also, Dad, Mom, and I each briefly shared a testimony. We had refreshments afterwards. The evening was a special time to get to better know our neighbors and friends plus share Christmas JOY!

Merry Christmas from a white Kansas,
Sarah

  2. Sounds like a wonderful time of music and fellowship! 🙂 I am sure all those who attended were very blessed. ~ Praying for you all as the winter weather moves across the midwest.

  3. Looks like a beautiful venue for your concert. Everyone looks like they are really enjoying the evening. We’ll buy a Christmas CD if you record one;)

  4. Your concert looks lovely. The christmas colours look great in these photo’s. Our daughter (11) plays harp and we went to her end of year recital and we agree, it is such a joy to hear beautiful music(and extra special when it’s those in your own family you are able to listen to). Many blessings, Maxwells.

  5. That is so cool! I have never heard of doing a bluegrass Christmas before, that must have been fun to do. Too bad I live way up here, eh? I would have loved to hear all of you! 🙂
Merry Christmas to you all from white, white, Canada!

  6. Wish we could have been there!

Enjoy the snow….a reminder that the blood of Jesus has washed us as “white as snow!”

  7. Looks like an enjoyable evening. We like Bluegrass too, and have a fun, homey cd with Bluegrass Christmas music on it.

We’ve had snow here. Not big accumulating but it was no, and some did stick! Hope we can have a white Christmas.

Would’ve been nice to be there. I’m sure it was a great concert.
Isn’t that the building you did your family pictures in?

God bless from was white Missouri. Rebecca
