Amazing! Where did this year go? Today is the final day of the eleventh month, and December is upon us.
On Thanksgiving Day, Anna, Mary, and Mom decorated the house for Christmas. We prefer to keep it simple, and the decorations Christ-centered. I’ll include some pictures, and maybe it’ll give your family ideas for making your own. Most of these we have purchased over the years at craft fairs.
May your heart rejoice in Jesus today!
Love,
Sarah

do all in the name of the Lord Jesus,
giving thanks to God and the Father by him.”
Colossians 3:17
I love the garland! Where did you get it?

A craft store. The items on the greenery were purchased separately and Mary arranged them.
Do you put up a Christmas tree? Just curious to know about that. I like your house and the decorations. Thanks for sharing.

No, we haven’t for years.
Oh I love your decorations. We do the names of Jesus too. God Bless!
I enjoyed seeing your lovely and meaningful decorations–thank you for sharing with us. 🙂 And I love the fact you all are keeping the focus on the TRUE Reason for this Season. Love, Mrs. Patti
Your home always looks so warm and inviting at Christmas. Can’t wait to see what all you girls bake this year for your caroling evening. (I do apologize for being so absent as of late, but Mr. Phil is not doing well, but continues to fight the cancer.)
Blessings, Mrs. Mari
Everything looks so beautiful

I think that your decorations are much more meaningful than the ones we normally see. I am not very crafty or creative so I may need to search high and low for appropriate ones but I am determined this year to remember why we are celebrating Christmas, and not focus on the commercial aspects. We have been moving house so I have not been able to read your blog for two weeks. It is lovely to see Joseph’s house and the changes in it.

We love the Christmas cross! The manger was just a “cradle in the shadow of a cross.”
Enjoy celebrating Jesus, God’s very best gift!

Your decorations are so beautiful! I have trouble finding decorations and wrapping paper with the Nativity or Biblical even. I love yours so much – and I deeply love your family. God Bless you all!
