The Aunties’ Park

A week ago Saturday, we decided to set up the play set. It was a gorgeous, sunny afternoon, and there were many willing helpers. We carried the pieces, some of which were extremely heavy, from the back corner of the yard to the more central location Anna and Dad had chosen. Then the process of bolting things together began. Occasionally, Anna consulted pictures she took when they dismantled the to help her see how it needed to be reconstructed. There are still a few final touches to be completed, but it is mainly done. Anna prayed for many months for a play set, and the Lord brought this one along for an incredible deal. Happily, we have a welcome addition to our backyard.

Sarah

Monday afternoon, the little girls played with Aunt Anna and Aunt Mary on the set. It was so cute.

“And we know that all things work together
for good to them that love God, to them who
are the called according to his purpose.”
Romans 8:28

  1. Aww, how wonderful! 😀 I’m so happy to see the Lord providing in this way! I can just imagine the many years of joy and happiness that will come from all the future nieces and nephews as they grow old enough to join the little girls. 🙂

    Blessings!

  3. That’s cute. Thanks for sharing the pictures, Sarah. I like to get action shots like that of children playing. The little girls look like they’re having fun. That was a blessing for God to provide.

  4. Those little girls are blessed with some really sweet aunts. There are many years of fun to come in Aunties Park.

  5. Bless you SO much! Those little girls and boy are going to enjoy going to Grandpa and Grandma’s backyard so much. What a wonderful family you are!

  6. What a fun place the Aunties’ Park will be throughout the coming years! 🙂 Thank you for sharing these cute photos (especially love the one of Mary holding Bethany on the slide!).
    Love, Mrs. Patti 🙂

  7. What a great encouragement this is to me. My 8yr old told me at bedtime the other night that she wants to get her older brothers a special gift. She doesn’t have a lot of money. I was so touched. We prayed and we will continue to trust the Lord. Deana

  8. Love your blog! It is such an encouragement to me! Thank you for your blog and ministry. It has been a great help to me. Raising 3 little girls, and 1 son (so far) and God has blessed. But sometimes just reading your blog reminds me to stay on the narrow path.
    Love Wendy
