Finishing out the Paint Job

A week ago Saturday, many of us were able to go over to Joseph’s house and pitch in to get the second coat of paint on the trim! It was very windy that day, and we were very happy to get the house painted before the cold front came through! We had a couple sprinkles here and there, but never enough to disturb our painting. We always enjoy our work days over at Joseph’s house!

Sorry there are only a few pictures from our morning! It is exciting to see the progress that Joseph is making on his house.

  1. Three cheers for your hard work! I love to see you working together to make everything beautiful. It is our family’s prayer that someday, the inside of the house will be filled with the love and laughter of Joseph’s own family. Until then, may the Second Trim Coat prevail against all kinds of weather!!

  2. I like the front door and hadn’t noticed it until now. Will he be painting the garage doors at some point? The green is so pretty with the white of the door and the window wraps. What a great transformation you have all helped to make! Can’t wait to see more photos of the inside as it progresses.

No doubt the garage doors are ugly. More to follow.

  3. What a beautiful, fresh new look! Love the shade of green!

  4. I really like the green and the white trim. It is fresh and clean and it has literally transformed Joseph’s house. I have been so encouraged by the family involvement in this project and in everything you do – I try to do the same with my children. Thank you for keeping us up to date.

  5. Wow! 🙂 It is really shaping up and that fresh paint is lovely. You all are working so hard to help Joseph—what a blessing! ~ The verse from Colossians you posted is one of my VERY favorites. 🙂
