This morning, I took a little walk down to a stream. I wish one could fully capture what I saw and felt.
Vibrant yellow leaves twirled from stately trees, a nearby stream gently carried leaves in its flow, and a soft breeze blew through the woods. It was gorgeous.

“But it is good for me to draw near to God:
I have put my trust in the Lord GOD,
that I may declare all thy works.”
Psalms 73:28Â
Sounds like a very special time enjoying the Lord’s creation. Thank you for sharing these photos Sarah. That forest and stream must have been very peaceful and pleasant. And that photo of you is precious! 🙂 Love, Mrs. Patti
Such beautiful pictures of autumn! The leaves are only starting to change here in New Jersey. Many blessings to your family!
WOW! So very pretty. We drove from OKC to Tulsa this weekend, and the trees up the interstate are just beginning to turn here. We were worried the colors would be a bit dull because of the dry and hot summer, but so far, this fall is going to be pretty!
In Christ,
Lori
Those are some very gorgeous pictures!
It seems the rains at the end of summer let us have a great autumn leaf season after all. I have been very much enjoying the colors now for quite a while, and you’ve captured them so well in the pictures you’ve been posting the past few days. It is definitely my favorite time of year also. Maple leaves against a crisp blue sky are truly one of the pleasures of life. We merely have to be thankful for the chance to appreciate those days when they happen, which makes them all the sweeter.
