Stop #9: Quad Cities Area

It has been such an encouragement to our faith to see the Lord bringing fruit in the lives of those who are coming to the conferences.

Tuesday evening’s conference had several items that were out-of-the-ordinary. First, it was held in a church building that it not currently being used for services. The owner shared with us that he had bought it at an auction, and then it was exciting to hear how the Lord provided for the different items such as ceiling fans, chairs, etc. Maybe one day a little fellowship will meet there. Secondly, this conference was held in the smallest town in which we’ve ever spoken. There were only a handful of houses and businesses in Yorktown. Thirdly, the men’s session met in the kitchen. But, that wasn’t a first. Dad said it has happened before. The men were going to meet in a little church across the street and up a bit, but because of rain they opted for the kitchen.

The Lord truly blessed, working in hearts.

We are in Wisconsin this morning (Fond-du-lac) and are headed to Chicago now.

  2. Since the Lord has provided the church building’s new owner with ceiling fans and chairs and other items, the worshippers will probably be coming soon! 🙂
