Colorful, Crisp, and Cheerful

We are situated at a state park in Illinois until tomorrow. The Lord provided a great place to park in a quiet setting. Some of us went for a delightful walk this afternoon.

We three girls went together and enjoyed colorful leaves, crisp temperatures, and cheerful company.

The leaf-strewn path, with a canopy of trees overshadowing it, was gorgeous as the wind blew scattering more leaves. Occasionally, a squirrel would scamper across the path.

We are grateful to the Lord for His bountiful mercy and grace. From the warmth of Louisiana to the cool temperatures in Illinois, we praise His name.

Enjoying the coziness of the bus,
Sarah

Getting our bearings.

We used the gorillapod and timer, which allowed for 30 seconds to push the button and then get in position.

“To every thing there is a season, and a
time to every purpose under the heaven.”

  11. I enjoyed these pictures. It reminded me of all the fun my sisters and I had. Now we’re separating by thousands of miles so I treasure the memories all the more. It’s nice that you so obviously enjoy each other’s company. 🙂
