We’re on our way–and we only had to turn around once to grab a few things. At least we weren’t far from home.
Packing for a six week trip is definitely an exercise. I have to say Mom and Anna are awesome at stocking our kitchen and planning our meals. On our way back from Ft. Morgan, they worked on menu ideas, and I saw them yesterday (or the day before?) at the kitchen table discussing it again. It’s one thing to have the idea but another to implement it. They do it all. We gratefully benefit from the fruit of their labors!
Dad wants to make it through St. Louis before rush hour, so we left earlier than we originally had planned. Our goal is to drive all the way to Germantown (Memphis area) tonight, but we also might stop at an RV park before then. We shall see.
Please pray for our traveling safety today. We don’t take accident-free miles for granted!
Yesterday morning, the little girls came over to help pack.
Last night, Nathan and Melanie had us over for dinner. It was a blessing, and the fellowship was wonderful.
We girls cleaned this morning too.

my lips shall praise thee.”

I keep remembering a comment (by Sarah I think) about how Christina looked so girlish, and Josh looks so boyish. So very true! Absolutlely adorable, both of them.
Praying for safe travels! Will be checking in often to follow your tour activities.
Those nieces of yours a are absolutely adorable and the newphew is quite a handsome little man!! 🙂 Praying y’all have a safe trip!

What can I say? The pictures are sweet.
For a second, I thought there were three babies in that one photo. I wondered where the extra one came from? Then I realized it was a doll.
Have a safe and blessed trip!
I came across your blog about a month ago after searching out some Titus 2 materials. I have added it to my reader and so enjoy your updates on family life. I find your ministry and lives in general to be very uplifting and encouraging to me during this time in my life as a wife and mother to three daughters (17, 12, and 2). Thank you for sharing. Lord bless you on your trip!
Thank you Sarah for taking the time to keep us up to date with the family news and some gorgeous new pictures of the grand-babies, especially as you have all been running to a tight deadline. I will be praying for your ministry to others on your 6 week journey and for safe travels.
We are all blessed by you and your family. Take care,
Love, Cate N.
