The Six Week Journey Has Begun

We’re on our way–and we only had to turn around once to grab a few things. At least we weren’t far from home.

Packing for a six week trip is definitely an exercise. I have to say Mom and Anna are awesome at stocking our kitchen and planning our meals. On our way back from Ft. Morgan, they worked on menu ideas, and I saw them yesterday (or the day before?) at the kitchen table discussing it again. It’s one thing to have the idea but another to implement it. They do it all. We gratefully benefit from the fruit of their labors!

Dad wants to make it through St. Louis before rush hour, so we left earlier than we originally had planned. Our goal is to drive all the way to Germantown (Memphis area) tonight, but we also might stop at an RV park before then. We shall see.

Please pray for our traveling safety today. We don’t take accident-free miles for granted!

Love,
Sarah

Yesterday morning, the little girls came over to help pack.

Last night, Nathan and Melanie had us over for dinner. It was a blessing, and the fellowship was wonderful.

We girls cleaned this morning too.

my lips shall praise thee.”

  4. For a second, I thought there were three babies in that one photo. I wondered where the extra one came from? Then I realized it was a doll.

Have a safe and blessed trip!

  5. I came across your blog about a month ago after searching out some Titus 2 materials. I have added it to my reader and so enjoy your updates on family life. I find your ministry and lives in general to be very uplifting and encouraging to me during this time in my life as a wife and mother to three daughters (17, 12, and 2). Thank you for sharing. Lord bless you on your trip!
