I Am Blessed

“O taste and see that the LORD is good:
blessed is the man that trusteth in him.

“O fear the LORD, ye his saints:
for there is no want to them that fear him.

“The young lions do lack, and suffer hunger:
but they that seek the LORD shall not want any good thing.

“Come, ye children, hearken unto me:
I will teach you the fear of the Lord.

“What man is he that desireth life,
and loveth many days, that he may see good?

“Keep thy tongue from evil,
and thy lips from speaking guile.

“Depart from evil, and do good;
seek peace, and pursue it.

“The eyes of the LORD are upon the righteous,
and his ears are open unto their cry.

“The face of the LORDΒ is against them that do evil,
to cut off the remembrance of them from the earth.

The righteous cry, and the LORD heareth,
and delivereth them out of all their troubles.

“The LORD is nigh unto them that are of a broken heart;
and saveth such as be of a contrite spirit.”
Psalms 34:8-18

I was marveling at how blessed I am. May we each praise the Lord Jesus for His grace and goodness in our lives.

By the way, the September Corners went out this afternoon, so for those of you who are subscribers, watch your e-mail.

  1. LOVE these verses of Scripture! Thank you for sharing them, Sarah. πŸ™‚ Each day I’m striving to focus more and more on my blessings–even the “little things” that we so often take for granted. This blog post is another reminder for me that I, too, am VERY blessed!!! πŸ™‚

  2. Thank you Sarah for the scripture and the photo, which help me focus on my blessings…and they are many. One of them is the ministry of your family. Please let your mother know that the Mum’s Corners” arrived this morning with impeccable timing and changed the whole colour of my day. I consider her work a blessing and she is truly a Titus 2 woman.

    Keep well and thank you again,
    Love, Cate
