“The Sparrow Hath Found an House”

“How amiable are thy tabernacles, O LORD of hosts! My soul
longeth, yea, even fainteth for the courts of the LORD: my heart and
my flesh crieth out for the living God.”

“Yea, the sparrow hath found an house, and the swallow a nest for herself, where she may lay her young, even thine altars, O LORD of hosts, my King, and my God.”

–Psalms 84:1-3

  1. Beautiful photos! There is a house martin’s nest on my parents’ house, I’ve tried to take pictures but I just can’t get close enough. Whoever took these photos is a very good photographer!

  2. Precious photos! I especially like that second one of the mother bird feeding her babies. So sweet, and excellent photography! 🙂

  3. Love the birds. We have a swallow nest above our front porch this year that has had two “litters” of babies. I didn’t know that birds had more than one litter per season. We have taken alot of pics too. The mother also dives at us and tries to scare us away when we open the front door.
Good job on the photos whoever took them.

  4. I love the photos–especially Mama feeding her chicks. How wonderful God is for creating all living creatures.
In Church this morning, our Pastor read from Matthew 6:25-34. I thought of your posting when we came to verse 26. We look at the wonder of God’s gifts but must remember that God’s greatest gift was our salvation through Jesus Christ and He will look after all our needs.

  5. Incredible pictures!! I love watching mommy birds feed their babies…what an amazing miracle!
