Joshua Christopher Maxwell

Joshua was born at 5:53 a.m. and weighed 9 pounds, 4 ounces (he’ll be measured later).

Our hearts are full of gratitude to the Lord that He allowed for a wonderful delivery in our home: both Mommy and baby are doing great!

Joshua – “God is my salvation”
Christopher – “Christ bearer”

Our prayer is that Joshua will be a firstborn son whose life is a testimony of his salvation as he embraces the truth of God’s Word, courageously proclaims Christ, and humbly ministers to the needs of those around him.

“But take diligent heed to do the commandment and the law… to love the LORD your God, and to walk in all his ways, and to keep his commandments, and to cleave unto him, and to serve him with all your heart and with all your soul.” (Joshua 22:5)

Thank you for your prayers, and we covet your continued prayer support as we seek God’s grace to raise Joshua in the nurture and admonition of the Lord…

Rejoicing in His mercy,
Christopher and Anna Marie

Early Labor?

This week has been relatively quiet in the contraction department for Anna Marie. She has continued to work on projects and eagerly anticipate her baby’s arrival.

Last night, though, things began to take another twist. Contractions came steadily, and they continued, instead of stopping after a few hours. Intensity has increased. It seems early labor has started. Obviously we don’t know if this will go on for one day, or two, or perhaps stop and then start back up. But, at least progress is being made! Anticipation is building!

Thank you for praying for Anna Marie as she approaches Baby’s birth. She is calm, trustful, and waiting on the Lord.
