Christina Mercy Maxwell

After a very hard labor, the doctor deemed it necessary to do an emergency C-section, and at 1:57 p.m. Christina Mercy entered the world. She was 9 pounds 6 ounces and doing fine. Melanie is “okay,” and we are praising God for His mercy and grace.

“He hath shewed thee, O man, what is good; and what doth the LORD require of thee, but to do justly, and to love mercy, and to walk humbly with thy God?”

–Micah 6:8

Another New Arrival

This one isn’t as exciting as baby news, but there has been definitely been a lot of labor behind it. To preview it, look here or click the picture. After you click the link, you’ll see the fully functional preview version. We haven’t officially launched it yet but hope to early next week.

P.S. We will pass baby news on as we are given the word.

But speak thou the things which become sound doctrine: That the aged men be sober, grave, temperate, sound in faith, in charity, in patience. The aged women likewise, that they be in behaviour as becometh holiness, not false accusers, not given to much wine, teachers of good things; That they may teach the young women to be sober, to love their husbands, to love their children, To be discreet, chaste, keepers at home, good, obedient to their own husbands, that the word of God be not blasphemed. Young men likewise exhort to be sober minded.

–Titus 2:1-6

Melanie’s in Labor!

Contractions are five minutes apart and getting intense. It is exciting to see that Baby Maxwell is on his/her way–really! As it stands now, it appears Baby will come on the official due date, TODAY! Please be praying for Melanie and Baby as they progress through labor.

Love,
Sarah

Random Pictures

Life is flying by at a fast pace! We leave for Pennsylvania next Wednesday, and there is much to do between then and now. No baby news either.

House work is progressing; pictures below.

Hmmm. That was an awkward load.

Happy home owner.

Mary was doing a great job with cleaning up.

Work in progress.

Nathan, Melanie, and the girls came for a tour.

After the walls had been sanded, Anna was wiping them down.

Installing can lights.

Yes, that’s me: dust mask and all. I’ve been helping with sanding walls.

We did another photo session, but this time, Mommy and Baby shots, and family pictures.

Radiant as ever.

Love.

What a sweet family!

Love,
Sarah
