Another New Arrival

This one isn’t as exciting as baby news, but there has been definitely been a lot of labor behind it. To preview it, look here or click the picture. After you click the link, you’ll see the fully functional preview version. We haven’t officially launched it yet but hope to early next week.

P.S. We will pass baby news on as we are given the word.

But speak thou the things which become sound doctrine: That the aged men be sober, grave, temperate, sound in faith, in charity, in patience. The aged women likewise, that they be in behaviour as becometh holiness, not false accusers, not given to much wine, teachers of good things; That they may teach the young women to be sober, to love their husbands, to love their children, To be discreet, chaste, keepers at home, good, obedient to their own husbands, that the word of God be not blasphemed. Young men likewise exhort to be sober minded.

–Titus 2:1-6

  1. I like the new look. When I said “Another New Arrival”, my siblings came into the office, they knew that Melanie was in labour and they thought for sure that the baby had come. : )
    Blessings,
    Yesenia

  2. It’s very different. I like the about page. It’s hard to say. Great job. It looks nice.

  3. OH my that is such a nice fresh look! It is apparent that you all have been working hard. The pictures are great, the organization and user friendliness is appreciated. Looking forward to the launch.

Still praying for baby Max and Nathan and Melanie and all the rest of the family as they wait.

Thanks for giving us a preview of what is coming up. This will be my third site layout since I began reading your blog and purchasing your products – and it is my favorite yet. It is obvious that you thought of us – the readers, purchaser, conference attendee, host etc. THANK YOU!

  4. OH, Sarah!!! That was not fair!!!!

Just a note for future reference: You give human baby news first…always first!!!!!!!

Seriously, the new format looks great. It is easy to look at, and even easier to navigate. I get on some websites, and they are henious to try to navigate because they are cluttered or have too much multi-media on them making downloading anything take way too much time and computer resources. Your new site is similar to the Williams-Sonoma and Pottery Barn websites in that it is are clean and streamlined.

    Congratulations!!

    In Christ,

    Lori

This was just a filler until we had official word.

  5. *giggles* That was a clever way to go about your *other* exciting news! 😉
    {I was quite entertained Miss Lori by your comments! Hehe. Agreed!}

But how nice to get a nice fresh new look to your site! 😀 Excellent work to whomever was the designer amongst your family. So many exciting and wonderful events seem to be happing in your corner of the world – God bless! 😀

Continuing to keep Melanie and baby in my prayers most fervently!

    In His Care,
    ~Miss Rachel~

  6. It looks great. Is this going to used in lieu of the old styled website?

    Joel 🙂

    Yes, once we cut over.

  7. I really like the fresh clean and clear look of the website. Nicely updated for sure. Can’t wait to hear about Melanie. Praying for them. Love the fruitfulness of your lives!

  8. I might have been a bit chagrined myself, if I had seen this earlier this afternoon!

However, since we’re waiting for pictures of Christina, looking at the new web site is certainly more than pleasing to the eye. Very sleek and clean and uncluttered. Usually I’m not a big fan of change, but I must say I really like this new look.

Now, if we can just get some baby pictures to look at…… (but we do realize that this is most definitely NOT your first priority at the moment. We really, really do.)

    Anne

  9. I miss seeing a family picture on the front of the website. Otherwise it looks great. It doesn’t seem the same without seeing your personal faces instead of somebody who we don’t know. Just a thought and certainly a quick fix if you agreed 🙂

  10. It looks great! I was also wondering if you are planning on including links to your other family websites like preparing daughters/preparing sons? Our family enjoys them all and we get a lot of use out of them.

Congrats on your new family addition (the baby I mean!)

Good point. We don’t do well at that and keeping them updated. Much room needed for improvement.
    Thank you.
