    It makes me long for more grandbabies to hold! Our youngest grandson is just over a year now, but he’s a busy boy and doesn’t like to stop long for grandma to cuddle. 🙂

    As we prayed about names, we knew we wanted the name to come from Scripture, and to be a Godly role model. The definition of the name was also important to us. As a firstborn son we want him to be especially set apart to the Lord, and to be a courageous, yet humble leader, like Joshua of old. Joshua is a name that both Anna and I particularly like and we also love the definition (God is my salvation). We prayed a lot about the name, and over time felt the Lord confirmed the name “Joshua”.

    Cleaning and scrubbing can wait til tomorrow
    For babies grow up we learn to our sorrow
    So quiet down cobwebs and dust go to sleep
    I’m rocking my baby and babies don’t keep

  35. Thank you for answering my question. 🙂 I agree that the definition of a name is so important. People these days just pick names without any real thought to it. It’s nice that you and Anna Marie picked something meaningful to you.
