Oh! Be still my heart! What a stunning family!
He has a nicely shaped head for a newborn. So many look like coneheads. There is nothing like a new baby to renew one’s faith. Anna Marie and Christopher look very happy.
Wonderful pictures..thanks so much for sharing. Look at that proud father 🙂
Anna Marie you look wonderful, being a mother already agrees with you. Enjoy this wonderful time.
he is quite wonderful!!!
Joshua IS amazing. A a premie, and possible DES baby (I was adopted in a closed arrangement), I can’t prove why I never grew to average height, or have deformed arms, legs, fingers and toes. I weighed 16 lbs. on my first birthday. I was also diagnosed as bipolar 5 years ago and I don’t care what anyone says, the medications corrected the mess of synaptic connections in my brain.
That said, I’d rather take the medications to enhance the incredible brain that allows me conscious discernment, in addition to the ability to merely function than suffer excrutiating bipolar disorder.
That said, I wish only the best for Joshua, Abby, Bethany and the siblings/cousins to come.
Beautiful. Christopher looks soooo happy. Anna Marie is radiant. I like the last picture of him. He’ s very handsome. Can’t wait to see more pictures!
God bless! Rebecca K.
Beautiful! Thank you so much for sharing and including us all. Prayers are continued for everyone.
Precious! To God be the Glory!
I am speechless… Praise the Lord! Indeed, Praise the Lord! All praise, honor, and glory to Him alone. Thank you, Lord Jesus.
Oh, how sweet! Congratulations, and may the Lord bless you as you bring this new little blessing up in the ways of the Lord!
What a gorgeous little boy. I love little babies.
Good luck and God’s Blessings to Christopher and Anna and Joshua.
Absolutely precious pictures. Anna Marie is just a glowing mother.
Thank you for posting more pictures! So happy for you!
Absolutely a precious beautiful gift. Anna Marie is radiant mother and Christopher looks like a natural holding his son. Our family is so happy for all of you. I couldn’t help but think back to the blog, pre-courtship days for Christopher. It is truly amazing to see the blesses of the last couple of years. Your willingness to share through the blog is a blessing for many and a testimony.
He is so precious! Congrats, Christopher and Anna Marie!!
How precious! Congratulations! I am so happy for you all!
Congratulations! I was really struck by the first photo of Christopher holding little Joshua and the attitude of Joshua’s head toward his father. I remember that immediately after each of my children were delivered he/she would always move his/her head toward either my husband’s or my voice as if they recognized us. That picture of Christopher with Joshua looks the same to me. He looks like a little boy who knows that he’s in his father’s arms and I agree with your prayers that as he grows, little Joshua will know his Heavenly Father and rest just as comfortably in His arms.
Joshua looks just like Anna Marie to a T just a smaller and younger version of her and he is sure a cutie Pie!!!
A new life is such an amazing gift from God! Thank you for sharing these photos. In the first photo, Joshua looks like he’s praying. 🙂
How precious! He is absolutely gorgeous. And the new parents glow with a joy only the Lord can create. Our family is so happy for you all. Anna Marie – Enjoy those newborn snuggles and the sweet moments you have. Time goes by so quickly. My little man(#6) is now 13 months. He was just a newborn this time last year and he is already well on his way to being a little man. God bless you all! The whole Maxwell family is such an inspiration and encouragement to us and our family 🙂 Thanks for sharing your daily lives with despite the risk of being exposed. Its definitely appreciated.
In Christ Love,
he is precious. Very nice pictures!
Perfect title to this post!

Oh he is so precious! God bless him.
Congratulations again to Anna Marie and Christopher for the gorgeous new born 🙂
In that last picture I think he already looks a bit like his mama. 🙂
He is completely precious. You are very blessed.
Thank you for posting these photos! They bring joy to my day!
Awwwww, thank you for sharing more photos! He’s just precious and perfect! And even though he was over 9 lbs., he’s tiny (I always forget how small newborns are!). I pray everything is going well with Anna Marie and Christopher as they navigate these first few days of being parents! And feel free to share more photos — we mamas never get tired of them! 🙂
Joshua is so beautiful, and mommy and daddy are glowing in the love of parenthood. I love the picture of Anna-Marie and Joshua–she is so beautiful and the love she has for her baby boy shines in her. Priceless. Precious. Awesome. Amazing.
Blessings, Mrs. Mari

Congratulations! Beautiful photos!
What a privilege it is to obey the command to “rejoice with those who rejoice”!!
Beautiful baby, beautiful name, beautiful parents!
I especially enjoyed the four-generation photo y’all posted the other day. Please make sure to get one of the four generations now that Joshua has been born (whether you post it or not) and do the same when Melanie has her baby. Our family has, well I guess it’s a tradition, of making 4 generation pictures, and they are among my the most treasured things I own. In the first one, I’m the newborn; in the next, I’m the mama; and in the last one so far, I’m the grandmother. I hope I’ll be around in 25y or so to be the great-grandma!
Oh, and the other thing that I just **love** about newborns–the way they’ll grasp your thumb with their toes when you place it just below them on the sole of their foot. Just makes me melt every time.
And remember: the days are long, but the years are short.
With warm best wishes and many cyber hugs from teapot in Memphis (I’m hoping to meet most of the family in the fall when y’all come)
We’ll look forward to meeting you too!
He is adorable. I am so happy for you guys! God has blessed you richly.
