That the generation to come might know them, even the children which should be born; who should arise and declare them to their children: That they might set their hope in God, and not forget the works of God, but keep his commandments.
–Psalms 78:6-7
You are all such beautiful ladies! I love that you placed the two expectant mommas on the ends–a matched set. 🙂
What a precious picture of the generations. Everyone has such pretty smies. Sarah, love the hair bow. I’m guessing a boy for Christopher and Anna Marie. I’m thinking you all are extremely anxious about two new gifts in the family. I check the blog each morning to see if anything has happened over night and again before bed. Praying for both each morning.
We have begun praying that it may be God’s will that our family adds one or two more.
Blessings,
What a special 4 generation family picture! Thanks for posting this! Isn’t it a blessing to have Jesus and our faith in Him and His finished work on the cross to pass to the next generation?!

Well….that answers my question….will keep checking back to see those beautiful babies. Beautiful picture of 4 generations though!
Oh what a precious photo of you ladies (and little girls)! Having four generations together must be a wonderful blessing. Thank you for sharing this picture, and continued prayers for Anna Marie, Melanie, the expected babies, and ALL the precious Maxwell family.
Love, Patti M. 🙂
How sweet and lovely picture, you should frame it!
God bless you.
So very pretty!
You are all so beautiful! I love how everyone is situated for the photo!
I must admit, though, that every time I see an update from you, my heart jumps as I’m so excited to “meet” the newest members of your family.
It’s good though because it always makes me stop and pray 🙂
Thank you for sharing the picture and verse!
love,
Jaynee
Such a beautiful and precious picture.
It’s a wonderful picture. At first I thought, wait, isn’t it five? But no, the new babies are still the fourth generation (though Abby and Bethany are getting so big!). Hopefully the newest little ones arrive safely soon!
Is there a certain page the Bible on the mantel is opened to?
>>>>>>>>>>
It is open to the third chapter of John.
You are such a beautiful family! Very lovely picture.
Just beautiful. Oh Praise the LORD, he is faithful and His love endures…..It would be an amazing thing to live to see 4 generations of your own family!
Oh, what a lovely picture of the ladies in your family! My husband and I just welcomed our first precious blessing, a baby boy named Adrian, and we pray nightly that he will grow up to radiate the love of Jesus. We’re also praying that the new Maxwell blessings arrive safely! You are so blessed that all your family lives nearby to help when the precious bundles arrive. Unfortunately, my husband and I had to recently move and we do not have relatives nearby, but we do have helpful neighors. Our prayers and encouragement to you all!
In Him always,
Rosemary
What a treasure that photo is, and will be in years to come! Truly His love endures to all generations!
I’m glad Anna Marie is so peaceful as she waits – I’m feeling excited and nearly impatient, and I don’t even know her, 🙂 ! Soooo looking forward to hearing the upcoming news!
Grace and peace during these exciting days,
Mrs. W
Beautiful picture!
Beautiful picture of beautiful ladies. I agree that this photo is much too precious to not be framed somewhere in your house.
You are indeed an incredibly blessed family!
