We are grateful to the Lord for the two little Maxwell blessings–grandblessings–that are almost here. Anna Marie is now officially at 41 weeks, and Melanie hit full-term at 37 weeks. We are praising the Lord! I thought a little photo session was in order.
Anna Marie simply glows! I can’t wait to see her holding her baby.
Even with being a week overdue, Anna Marie does not complain, but is simply and joyfully resting in the Lord’s plans.
Melanie and Anna Marie have loved their little ones since the day they found out they were carrying them.
Melanie is thrilled to officially be on normal activity. She’s loving preparing for her baby.
I had to add this picture of Anna and Abby, with their matching skirts.
Thus saith the Lord, thy redeemer, and he that formed thee from the womb, I am the Lord that maketh all things; that stretcheth forth the heavens alone; that spreadeth abroad the earth by myself.
–Isaiah 44:24
What wonderful pictures! Thank you for sharing them.
Great pictures! The Maxwell ladies look so joyful! What a blessing… Thank you for the update!
Thank you for the update! Looking forward to more posts announcing the blessings have arrived!
I was just looking on here to check baby news 🙂 Great pics. Anna Marie you are absolutely glowing. We are praying for a healthy labor and delivery. Melanie it is wonderful that you are doing so well and may you enjoy this last month of your pregnancy. You also look great. I can’t wait to see the two additional little Maxwells
Prayers to all
Babie are so exciting. I miss those days but enjoy waiting for the news 🙂
All the best,
Becky
Thank you for keeping us posted on the little ones and their eager mothers. We pray that the Lord will keep both healthy and that the births will go well. May God bless you, friends!
Thanks for the update! I know I was definitely wondering if Anna Marie had had her baby yet! Many of your blog readers are probably as curious as I have been. It has been my experience that “due dates” are sort of nebulous because the baby actually initiates his/her own birth without medical intervention. And it is all in God’s timing. But the medical community is there to serve a good purpose, too. All in good timing and plan…
Oh, and just watch — they might just have their babies on the same day. Now THAT would be an exciting day for your family. And a great new idea for your book series, Sarah! 🙂
Such an exciting time! So thankful that Melanie made it to full term. I’m looking forward to their announcements!
Heather (38 wks pregnant with #7)
I love the hearts on the tummies .
My sister in law and I both went into separate hospitals on the same day. My mother in law was running back and forth between the two hospital. Wore her out until the babies actually arrived. Hopefully Anna Marie and Melanie will be in the same hospital.
Thanks for the cute pics

What beautiful pictures! I’m sure Melanie and Anna Marie will always cherish this time that they enjoyed being pregnant together. And Anna Marie is a trooper! I was over 2 weeks overdue with my first – it isn’t easy to wait! Can’t wait to see the first pictures…
Praise the Lord indeed for “His excellent mercy”, “His Love endures forever” !!
Praying for you both, and rejoicing with you!
Thank you for the baby update, Sarah 🙂 I can’t wait to see picutes of the little ones when they arrive! I’ll be praying for the Mom’s and babies 🙂
Blessings,
Megan
I was 41 weeks with my first. I was induced and he was born quite soon after the 5.9 Whittier Narrows earthquake. He rock and rolled into the world.
I am so glad that Melanie’s pregnancy has lasted this time and her complications weren’t serious. Pretty soon there will be little feet toddling around the homes.
I just wanted to say, not only how happy I am for your families; but how beautiful the ladies all look!! I found it such a challenge to find modest comforable clothing during my pregnancies, especially b/c I do not sew. So,
it is just really nice to see how sweetly they are dressed. Ladies you look lovely!!! Congratulations and God bless you these last days carrying your precious ones.
Oh what precious photos!! 🙂 Seeing those beautiful young ladies awaiting the birth of their little ones made me smile. Thank you so much for sharing this update and these photos. What a wonderful blessing that both ladies are doing well—you can see them both “glowing” in anticipation of their gifts from the Lord. ~ I also enjoyed the cute photo of sweet Anna and little Abby! 🙂 ~ I will continue praying for Anna Marie and Melanie—as well as ALL the Maxwells. Love, Patti M.
Aww, such happy ladies! Abby looks like she has been practicing for when the new sibling and cousin are here. It must be so exciting for her and for Bethie to have two babies on the way!
Take care and God bless!
They look healthy and beautiful! The fabric on Anna and Abby looks so pretty on them, too.
I loved seeing these pictures as I’ve been checking your blog a couple of times a day this week hoping to see pictures of a new baby. Can’t wait to see these new sweet babies. What a blessing to be having babies at right around the same time.
What pretty pictures! They are both beautiful mommies! Congrats to both of them! Cute picture of Anna and Abby, too!
How sweet and lovely! Thank you for the update! We’ve been checking in a couple of times a day! What a great example Anna Marie is of waiting patiently on the Lord. Continued prayers for your family!
Thanks for the update. Praying for all the Maxwells
Lovely photos of the ladies! How wonderful to hear that Melanie has made it to full term. Praise the Lord! I have been 41+ weeks three times, and am positive I never looked as wonderfully radiant as Anne Marie does! God bless.
I’ll admit it: I’ve been checking in often to see what news there might be! What a time for rejoicing–two term pregnancies, and a family that knows just how precious that really is!! We welcomed our third grandchild earlier this year and were so very glad that we didn’t have to do NICU time this go around. His older brother (now 4.5y) was born at 31w6d. Sadly, he had a twin sister who only stayed with us for about 90 minutes, but we look forward to seeing her again in Heaven one day.
My thoughts and prayers are with not just the expectant parents & grandparents, but also with all the aunts and uncles, who are so often overlooked, in happy times and sad ones. You are so important, too!!
What gorgeous mothers-to-be!! These pictures brought smiles to our household! We have been waiting with bated breath to hear about the babies, and this was a pleasant surprise. Our continued prayers and praises to God for these lovely ladies with hearts to serve Him, and for their babies. Oooh, can’t wait!!
What lovely photos. Congratulations to both Maxwell families. I look forward to hear the news. How wonderful that these two cousins will be so close in age. How simply wonderful that this pregnancy has been easier for Melanie. May this trend continue, please Lord.
In Him
Meredith
They’re both just beautiful! And Anna and Abby look so sweet in their matching skirts! 🙂
Thank you so much for the update! I have been checking back every day to see if there was any news. We are very excited for the both of them and yes, Anna Marie is so beautiful and glowing! I know with my two I cherised ever moment b/c of the wonderful gift from God. I have never understand those Mom’s who complain b/c it is the most incredible gift God can bestow on you. Melanie, we have been praying every day for you and we rejoice with you as you get to prepare for your new little one….your girls are going to be such sweet sisters!
God Bless to you all!!
Wendy B.
Thank you for the update. Everyone is continually in our prayers.
Love Sondra J.
Thank you for the baby updates! We were wondering if Anna Marie had her baby yet and are checking your blog daily! We know God’s timing is perfect and we look forward to the arrival of both babies!
With love and prayers from New Jersey

Melanie and Anna Marie, you both radiate Jesus!
Thank-you for this update! I’ve been enjoying the updates though I haven’t commented on some recent posts that I’d intended to comment on.
Both Anna Marie & Melanie look radiant.
Yes! There will be two cousins the same age, that can be so exciting (I have two nephews born very close to each other, they are nearly inseparable now).
I’ll bet little Abby and Bethany must be filled with excitement waiting! Particularly Bethany, who will be a big sister soon.
Thank you so much for the update. I have been checking here daily for an update. Anna-Marie and Melanie are glowing, I am so excited for the couples and praying for them. What a wonderful treat if babies arrive on the same day. God’s timing is perfect and his will be done. Looking forward to the announcements.
I know Anna-Marie is a talented seamstress and imagine she made the majority of her maternity clothing? The skirt and top she is wearing look so nice–I think I may have to make that skirt (nonmaternity)
Blessings, Mrs. Mari
Thank you so much for the update. At the risk of stating the obvious, I think you have a whole bunch of anxious (not worried…just excited) blog readers/friends! The photos are just wonderful, and I am so glad that the two mommas are doing well. We are praying for these ladies and their babies.
In Christ,
Lori
Praising God for Melanie’s health this pregnancy! Anna Marie, what a joy awaits! Praying for a healthy delivery for both of you and look forward to pictures. Blessings!
Thank you for the update. This brings back memories. My first was a week late. And each of her siblings was a day later still. So my third was 9 days late. All of them were beautiful and healthy, which is what I pray for you both. However, I did have bigger babies than my friends. My third was over 10lbs.! My middle child lifted and rolled his head the night he was born because his muscles were so developed. My midwife (who is a H in Western Washington and might be Anna Marie’s relative?) and I also let God be in charge. I am so happy for you both. Blessings on this wonderful time of life.
I am so excited for Melanie and Anna! I have been checking in here regularly to see if there is a birth announcement. They both look so beautiful and glowing.
I also love Anna’s & Abby’s matching skirts! What cute fabric!
Can’t wait! Can’t wait! It’s so good to see Anna Marie and Melanie so joyful for these precious gifts. They both look beautifully happy. I think it’s just so neat the way God planted them to be pregnant at the same time! I imagine everybody is on their toes with anticipation trying to keep busy but anxiously waiting any minute to hear that the babies are on their way.
Such an exciting time for everyone. I’m sure Christopher and Nathan are just as joyfully excited as the mommies-to-be. Praying!
God bless! Rebecca K.
