Thank you!

I want to express my gratefulness to each and every person who commented on the birthday blog post. Wow! You all were so kind to take the time to post and share. My family made Thursday an extremely special day. There were balloons, countless “happy birthdays,” special meals, shopping trips with the girls, nieces play time, and wrapping up the day with a special family party. I love my family so much; the Lord truly has bonded us into an incredible team.

I am also grateful for those of you who pray for me. It is such a blessing to know you are upholding me to our Heavenly Father. I know without a shadow of a doubt that if the Lord wants me married, it is an easy thing with Him. But, that appears to not be His plan at this very moment, so I joyfully go with His plan and know that when it is His timing, it will happen. I rest contentedly and happily in what the Lord has given me.

Love,
Sarah

Joseph made an amazing card for me out of cherry wood and custom designs. It is currently on my desk.

  1. Glad you had a blessed day, Sarah! Have a blessed year with your family!
    God bless! Rebecca K.

  2. Sarah, Thank you so much for your sweet attitude. I was nearly 29 before I married. The Lord had a tough time bringing me to the point of acceptance in waiting. Of course, I’m glad I did. Anyway, I just want you to know that I pray for you and for myself that I will be able to help my daughters have a sweet spirit as they wait for God’s timing in marriage for them.

  3. Hello Sarah,
    Happy Birthday
Thank you for your example of biblical womanhood. I had the privilege of attending one of your family’s conferences in Orlando some years ago and I have been greatly blessed and encouraged by your family’s Godly example, yours especially. May God continue to bless you and keep you and direct your path. I pray that God will continue to grant you peace in abiding in Him and guide a God fearing man to you, if that be His will.

  4. Sarah. You are such a blessing to so many and I am blessed to know you. Just this evening Mr. Phil and I were talking about the concept of instant gratification and how often we tend to lean towards it, and how we ought not to be leaning that way but to leaning towards God’s timing. Keeping you in prayer.

    Blessings, Mrs. Mari

  5. This is such a beautiful picture of you Sarah (and the little girls, too, of course!). Although you don’t know me, I wish you all the best and lots of sunshine in your life in the coming year!

  6. Sarah, I, too, was just weeks shy of my 30th birthday when I married. I, like you, had spent my 20s developing my talents and taking on projects that made me a strong individual and I do not regret the wait at all. What I discovered was that at times it was painful to wait but that marriage also did not define me (and it still doesn’t, and that was 16 years ago!). My 20s were a period of immense personal growth for me and I was ready when God sent me the person I would marry because I knew who I was by then. You are an inspiration to so many women with your enthusiasm for God and your family and though I am much older than you, you encourage me with your wisdom and fresh perspective. Bless you for sharing your life with others! 🙂

  7. Every parent hopes their daughter will grow to be like you. You are amazing. Your entire family is amazing at encouraging others in a powerul and Godly manner.

  8. What a sweet note, precious Sarah. 🙂 You have such a wonderful outlook and strong faith—what an inspiration you are to so many! ~ I have been praying for you, and will continue. I am sure the Lord is using you in a mighty way, and know He has wonderful plans for you.
Love in Christ, Mrs. Patti M. 🙂

  9. Hi Sarah,

Wanted to let you know that my 13 year old daughter (with a learning disability) LOVES the Moody series of books. There are not many books that she will sit and listen to me read, but these wonderful books are being asked to be read! In the past, I have borrowed the first four books from our church library to read aloud to our family before bedtime, and now, my daughter owns the first five, so I am re-reading them in the same manner (aloud to the family at bedtime).

Thank you so very much for wholesome, family writing!

    Happy 30th Birthday, Sarah!

    God bless you!

  10. Looks like we missed your b’day, Sarah, so a belated Happy Birthday to you, our dear sister in Christ!

We look forward to seeing you in June in Philadelphia at the SEARCH Conference!

Love the b’day pic you posted. Looks like Bethany is lifting her hands in praise to the Lord!

We praise the Lord for you!

    Love and Prayers from NJ,

    Lisa and Hannah
