Our friends, Dave and Liz, are here for a visit. Days have been filled with many productive tasks:
- Putting together a wood floor for Sarah and Anna’s desks
- Assembling Anna’s “new” desk
- Work
- Sewing (girls)
- Time in God’s Word
- Fellowship in the Lord
- Meal prep
- Exercise
- And more!
On top of that, the weather has been beautiful.
Love,
Sarah

“Fulfil ye my joy, that ye be likeminded, having the same love, being of one accord, of one mind” (Philippians 2:2).
Looks like you’re all having a fun, constructive, blessed time together! I hope we can get to see your new outfits! It’s wonderful to spend time with like-minded friends!
Made Poppy Seed Loaf again this morning (last week also), only this time I had to use lemon juice for the glaze because we didn’t have any oranges or orange juice. My sister, Annah likes it better with orange juice, but Mom likes it with the lemon juice.
Did you get a hair trim, Sarah? Your hair looks nice.
Hope the Lord brings someone across your path to give the Gingerville village too, unless you decided to keep them!
God bless! Rebecca K.

Yes, a bit of a trim, she felt it was about time.

Being an avid seamstress myself, I am always interested in what machines others use. I have three Brother machines, two regular and one Serger. What brand do you ladies prefer? And do you use embroidery or quilting machines? Those are on my wish list for the hopefully near future!
>>>>>>>>>>>>>>
We like Viking and Janome. The Viking we’ve had for about 20 years, and it
does do some embroidery, but we don’t use that feature. The sergers are
Babylock Imagine. One is Sarah’s and the other Anna’s.

It’s always nice to have good friends come to visit! Just curious, I see a lot of short sleeves, are you enjoying comfortable temperatures despite it being January? Hope so! 🙂

55 right now.
Steve
What kind of art do you all have going on?

Drawing lessons.
Steve
Just curious…..what was the art project?
Happy New Year to all of you!

What a wonderful, productive time you all are having! 🙂 Thank you for sharing these great photos.

I love your big kitchen and I have been wondering for some time what the measurements of your kitchen table would be. How many can you sit around it comfortably?
>>>>>>>>>
Sorry it took so long. 54 inches wide by 12 feet long. 16 comfortably, but we have had a lot more.

You are all so busy, and always inspiring me. I too have been sewing a lot. Our dining room table looks like a sewing factory right now with patterns and fabric organized all over. I like to cut out my fabric for several dresses at a time and then sew therm all, but since I can’t find time to sew every day I leave it all sitting in organized piles on the dining table and sew on my crafts table. It’s a process isn’t it?
Are you taking drawing lessons for a special project or for a new hobby? I am taking a clothing design online class and enjoying it a lot. I hope to begin designing my own dress patterns. Which one of you is teaching the lessons?
Blessings, Mrs. Mari

Since Dave is a gifted artist, and offered some classes, many were very excited to take him up on it. No project.
