I so laughed out loud at this because it is just darling! I can just imagine how much fun it was to put this together and the time you spend enjoying one another. I have never done this but I will for sure next year. Abby will have lots of help doing next year’s village as Bethany will be old enough to get in on the action. I showed your village to Willam and Anna, and they were just amazed at the detail. Both kids enjoy crafts and art in almost any form, so I am fairly certain William will be sketching this out for next year as he likes to draw and sketch. Anna will be filling in the details regarding what, items to use, and whatnot.
That is simply amazing. Alot of work and thought put into each piece. Now what will you do with it?

I asked the nursing home, but as I figured, they have not place for display.

Love Abby’s outfit. Good job, Abby~ I loved the zoo. =)
Who made the John Hancock Tower? I think it should get special recognition for most daring structure!

Okay, I’m not objective…now that I know who made what, I would totally vote for Abby’s! 🙂
I loved the grocery store!!! Not that the others weren’t well done, I just loved the detail on that particular one. You all did a fabulous job! 🙂
Great job on ALL of Gingerville!! 🙂 And, I must say that my very favorite is the Church (even though each building, etc. is amazing!).
Blessings, Patti M. 🙂
what a lovely jinger village! Truly an encouragement to see a family having such a wholesome time together.
I am now determined to build a gingerbread village next year. It will be a challenge with my cats but I really want to try.
I still say the grocery store, then the Victorian cottage, then the church. The grocery store tops them all, at least for me!
They were all so neat and creative. What a fun thing to do together. My children would love to build one.
Totally off-topic, but I love Anna’s hair! Shorter and curly on the bottom — really cute look! And I love that Abby helped on the zoo. Knowing that makes it all the more sweet! 🙂
This is a little off subject, but my copy of Winter Days arrived in the mail the other day! I was so excited (the mail was taking a long time to arrive).
I finished it yesterday afternoon! It was great! It’s one of the best Moody books!
I liked the Gingerville church the best.

That jingerbread general store was remarkable! What a testament to the care and patience of the couple who created that masterpiece.
I select the grocery store.
It is so cute!!
