  2. Happy Thanksgiving!! We have been cleaning almost all day. We’re having the family at our house! Please pray, as we have unsaved relatives coming. Have a blessed day together as a family reflecting on God’s wonderful works in your lives!

    God bless! Rebecca K.

”Give thanks with a grateful heart, give thanks to the Holy One. Give thanks because He’s given Jesus Christ, His Son.”

  3. I’m thankful for my mother in law who left us yesterday. She raised 5 kids, each unique and different and one is my husband. She had a simple faith, and was there for anyone who needed help even when she was hurting and sick.

I’m thankful for a roof over my head. A bed to sleep in. Good books in my library and wonderful choices to read.

I’m thankful for our Lord Jesus Christ whose grace is freely given without condition. For his mercy upon us all and for his love which is daily felt.

I’m thankful for my 2 children who have grown to be wonderful adults. Who have gifts of their own and use them daily.

I’m thankful for my Mom. She’s my hero. She loves me and reminds me daily of how to walk with the Lord. She’s 86 and very independent. Tomorrow she and her grandkids are leaving for Yosemite. Just to go and see the majesty.

I’m thankful for my husband who loves me very much, holds my hand when I need him, and is my best friend.

    Happy Thanksgiving.

  5. Thank-you for that post! It is very timely for me – I had a big disappointment today, and it was so good to be reminded of all the things I can be thankful for!

Our Lord Jesus Christ and all He has done for us
    The Holy Scriptures
    My family
    A Christian up-bringing & Homeschooling
Being able to continue to live in my parents home
Fellowship with other believers and the freedom to gather together
    Reasonable health
Safe travel this morning in very windy weather

  6. What a wonderful post for Thanksgiving Day (and all year)! My heart is blessed from reading all of your “thankful lists”, dear Maxwell family. ~ And as only one of your MANY online friends and readers, I am very thankful for you all and the ministry you’re doing for our Lord Jesus. THANK YOU!!! 🙂
    Love in Christ, Patti M.

  7. P.S. I also meant to add that the photos of each of you are wonderful!!! Such a precious family—inside and out.

  8. By the was, who is Suzannah Joy? One of the new Maxwell babies on the way?

She was Nathan and Melanie’s first little girl. She lived only 3 days. She has a place in all of our hearts.

  9. Given this year, I am so very thankful for God and his provision and for the ability to have met your family this last spring. I am thankful beyond anything for my two children and my family. I am thankful for my job which provides for my family, my health, and transportation.

I hope you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving and enjoy all the Christmas season brings.

    Love you all,

Lori, William, and Anna (I have an Anna too!)

  10. We don’t celebrate a special thanksgiving day holiday in Australia – but we hope your celebrations are joyous! Your post is a terrific reminder to be ye thankful in all things at all times even when they don’t seem to be thank worthy events that unfold around us!

  11. Happy Thanksgiving.

It is a joy to read your gratitude lists, and it provided me with a heart to remember that I do have a lot to be thankful for, and to create my own gratitde list.

    Blessings. Mrs. Mari
