About 10:45 last night, a wild storm blew in with very strong wind, lots of rain, some hail, and plentiful amounts of thunder and lightning. As a result, we lost both power and Internet. Power was restored about 6 a.m. for us, but Nathan and Melanie’s power didn’t come back on until 6 pm tonight, which made their trip preparations more interesting. Internet just came back up for all of us.
So, it’s been a flurry of packing, cleaning, wrapping up last minute details, playing with nieces (for Aunt Anna and Aunt Mary), packing vehicles, and more! Our friends, the C. Family, will ship our Titus2.com orders while we are away, so we restocked them as well (yesterday).
It’s feeling real: we will be in the foothills tomorrow night, as we spend the night in Colorado Springs before driving to Buena Vista Sunday. We would be grateful for prayer as we set out tomorrow.
Love,
Sarah
“Mercy unto you, and peace, and love, be multiplied” (Jude 1:2).

That is such a sweet picture of Bethany. Praise the Lord that you are all safe after the storm!
We will be praying for your safe travel, and a wonderful time of refreshing and connection for all before your fall trip. We are looking forward to all of Sarah’s delightful updates. Sometimes(like the flood in the RV park) we connect scripture to something you share and use it during family Bible time.
God bless you,
Kim C. and family
We got the same storm last night (we’re in Missouri). We saw a flash of lightening right by our bedroom window, and then the air conditioning went off. We still have power, but our air conditioner (an underground heat pump) is broken. It is soooo hot! We’re sleeping in our finished basement tonight (the whole family) because it’s cooler down here.
We also lost our phone service (and internet) for several hours.
We’ll be praying for you as you set out on your trip!
To All:
Enjoy your long over due vacation. My prayers are with you as you set out for your exciting trip.
Be safe and have fun. Wish my family were going with you!
Johnna
Enjoy every minute of your trip. I pray it will be a time of refreshment and renewal for your family! Oh, how we miss Colorado!
Praying! Have a fun, blessed, fruitful, exciting trip! Can’t wait to see updates!
God bless! Rebecca K.
Enjoy the beauty of Colorado and happy birthday to Mary. We just returned from our trip to Europe. It was a good trip but we are jetlagged especially since our plane in Atlanta was delayed 2 hours so we arrived at KCI at 2 a.m.
