Dad’s 60th Surprise

For weeks now, we’ve been planning a very special birthday surprise for Dad. After all, you only turn 60 once :-). Amazingly, the surprise was a surprise, and he was shocked. Mom gets the prize for how carefully she kept the secret, and that was with walking with Dad every day (except for Sunday), and managing to not slip with her words!

It will take a little while to process all the pictures taken between yesterday and today, so for now, I’ll leave you with a few. We went to Springfield, Missouri yesterday, and then enjoyed a wildlife drive-thru safari park today. More later.

Love,

Sarah

Two aunts and two nieces

I'll tell you later what Christopher is carrying, but maybe some will guess.

Abby and Grandma

Grandpa and Bethie

“For our heart shall rejoice in him, because we have trusted in his holy name” (Psalms 33:21).

  1. Hmmmmmmmm…I wonder. Let’s see, a cattle feed bag? I have no definite clue as to what’s in that bag, but I’ll tell you…it’s a great disguise! Surprises I’m excited about are so hard not to tell! Can’t wait to find out what the surprise was!

    Sweet family memory photos!

    God bless! Rebecca K.
