And now a flood!

More later, but we woke up to being in the midst of a flash flood. In an incredible way, we were able to get out, and warn others as we left, along with notifying emergency personnel of the situation. We are praising the Lord for His protection. Watch for more pictures and the story!

  2. Prasing the Lord you all are ok, and were able to warn others. So very scary! Safe travels today!

  3. What an adventure you’ve already had! I can’t wait to hear the rest of the story on the flash flood – sounds like great material for a Moody book, too! 🙂 Glad you all are safe.

  4. After reading the last post I was going to comment that I hoped the rest of your travel to Harrisburg would be less “exciting” but I see that it’s not the case. Praise that you were able to get out safely and prayer for those who were affected by that flash flood! See you on Friday!

  5. Oh my!!!! You probably certainly weren’t expecting this!!!! Thankful that you all are safe. Hope you are able to get out soon. Hope Uriah doesn’t mind resting in the water. Continuing to pray for you!!! Have a blessed, fruitful rest of the trip!!! Thinking of you all!

    God bless! Rebecca K.

  6. Oh Goodness! I was wondering if you would encounter any of the flooding. I am so thankful for your safety and wish the safest possible trip for you all. It is heartbreaking to see all the devistation in the wake of the floods hitting the south right now.

    In Christ,

    K.

  7. My dad lives in that area and it got hit hard last night. They ended up having to open a shelter and rescued around 67 people from flooded areas. Glad to hear you all are ok.
