23 Hours and Counting

Things are a buzz here at our house as we prepare for the trip. So many projects going: ITonRamp.com is about to launch (later today or tomorrow morning, and we will post when it launches so you have first opportunity to sign up for classes), the May Corners will be sent out tomorrow, thus last-minute items on that, books are being prepared to be loaded into the bus, CDs are being compiled, personal packing is being done, errands need to be run, more supplies brought over for the family who ships our Titus2.com orders while we’re away, and the list goes on. We’re grateful John was excused from his jury duty, which starts today, because of the trip. They postponed him until June.

This morning, after our individual Bible time, a number of us compiled Chore books. The only disappointment today? We are missing Dave and Liz and their company and help! They were with us as we prepared for our last trip.

Please be praying as we prepare today. The Lord always helps us to accomplish all that needs to be done. We are excited about this trip and look forward to what the Lord will do. It’s a Kansas “summer” day, with temperatures soaring into the 90’s with humidity.

Love,
Sarah for all the rest

“Prepare thy work without, and make it fit for thyself in the field; and afterwards build thine house” (Proverbs 24:27).

Chore Books! We started a little after 6:30 a.m.

  1. Have been praying since I saw your post off & on as you all come to mind!
Can only imagine all the work of preparations to be ready to ‘hit the road’.
Trust this trip will be a lot less eventful than your last one – it would be hard to beat Uriah’s moments of being stuck!

  2. I’m looking forward to seeing your family at CHAP on Friday! Prayers for traveling mercies and all the details that go into such an endeavor.
