We’ve gone West many times, and every time we drive through South Dakota, we would see signs advertising Wall Drug. It never seemed to be a good time to stop, but since Wall is a little over an hour from Rapid City, we drove there after the conference. We explored the large store, which was compartmentalized into many sections, and purchased a few gifts.

By the time 6:15 rolled around, we were tired and ready for food. There were only two fast-food places in town, and since we enjoy ice cream, we opted for Dairy Queen.

“Glory ye in his holy name: let the heart of them rejoice that seek the Lord” (Psalms 105:3).
You cannot beat DQ soft serve! When Daddy was sick, it was one of his favorites, but there is not a DQ in the OKC area. He and mom would take a day and drive to Ponca City (almost to the OK/KS border to the DQ there for some ice cream and then drive home! My brother and I thought it was so funny because there is still a DQ in Chickasha…about 60 mi. SW of OKC!!! I love stores like that, and that one looks like a road trip destination to me!
I am so glad your conferences have gone well and the Lord has blessed you so richly this trip.
In Christ,
Mmmmm!!! Dairy Queen!! I’m glad you got to go! I like the picture of you girls. I also like the picture of John with you, Sarah.
God bless! Rebecca K.
