1000th Blog Post

This blog began in August of 2006. We wanted to celebrate, in a special way, the 1000th blog post with a few pictures from each year.


This is the way we traveled for many years: the van and trailer!
Fall of 2006 trip. We were in North Carolina doing a bit of hiking on a free day.


January/February 2007 trip.
The beginning of the house-building process, February.
The foundation was laid, March.
March 21st, sweet Susannah was born, and only lived three days before being ushered into eternal Glory with Jesus. Although we sorely miss her here, we will one day be re-united with her.

Grand Canyon, January
We were temporarily stranded in Carlsbad due to an engine pulley that broke. We weren't able to go to Carlsbad Caverns.
In Steamboat Springs, Colorado, we had some electrical work done.Â

We almost lost Grandad in June due to a blockage in his stomach nearly took his life.

We had a memorable June, which included repairing the hole in the fuel tank, and in the process, John had a painful encounter when his wrench slipped, and his knuckles were split open.

We were pushing hard. If we were able to get the bus ready in time, we were going to spend a few days in Colorado after our first conference near Denver.

The final night of recording! So many hours were spent at the studio in December and January.
Preparing to leave for Ft. Smith, but the bus had a problem. John worked hard on it!/February
Leaving on this trip we're currently on: March 11th.
And we went north! As far as Uriah has ever gone north, to a wonderful little town called LaCrete.

It was a joy to find these pictures to recap the last few years. You’ll often see me as in the photo below :-).
