A Treasure

Here is a testimony we recently received. Our hearts were thrilled with this e-mail and picture! We thought it might bless you as well.

“In October of 2006, I was reading your blog. The entry on top was a birthday wish to one of your children and a story about how if you had not reversed a bad decision that prevented you from having children you would not have this child. I stared into the computer screen and instantly thought of how many children I would have if I wasn’t choosing to stop my ability to have children. I immediately began to sob. I begged God to forgive me. From that day on, we opened our hearts to more children.

“Three years of not getting pregnant and turning 40 had me convinced I was not going to have any more children. Last January, I found out I was pregnant!

“I am thrilled to say that God has blessed us with a third child, a son named Levi Timothy. His name means, ‘joined in harmony to honor God;’ – our family motto!! God has shown His mercy to me in ways that only He could. I will always be grateful for the day I read your blog and God broke my heart. Thank you for your obedience to Him.”

Levi Timothy

“Lo, children are an heritage of the Lord: and the fruit of the womb is his reward” (Psalms 127:3).

  1. What a precious and wonderful testimony! Levi Timothy is beautiful. God bless you. This touched my heart.

  2. Sweet picture and lovely testimony! We too have an over-40 baby (an almost 5-year-old daughter) who was born after we decided to trust God with the size of our family. 🙂
