One of the blessings of being able to travel is the experience of some different things. This is the farthest north that I have been. As we were driving the other day, I realized that there might be the chance of seeing the northern lights (aurora borealis). I checked and it looked like there was a slight chance that we might see this amazing phenomena. But I also prayed, as I know that God controls the weather, and the space weather, and that He could send the northern lights. And, He did! It was a beautiful demonstration to me of how He answers small and seemingly insignificant requests like this.
“The heavens declare the glory of God; and the firmament sheweth his handywork” (Psalms 19:1).

God Bless you & your family.
I’m praying for you guys!
I think it is so neat that the Lord grants us so very many blessings. Be it so trivial as letting you see something like the Northern lights, or other things. You are very blessed as a family to be able to see so many of the Lord’s creations. Continue to be a beacon of His word.
That is amazing and the first you posted at the bottom of the photo was the first thing that came to my mind! God is so wonderful!!!
I used to live in Alaska and must say, the aurora borealis was one of my favorite things!!! It was always so very amazing to see the dancing lights in the sky, and with varied colors! Enjoy this breathtaking display from God, himself!!!
Those are SPLENDID pictures Joseph! We get to see Northern Lights once and a while, but they are never that clear and vivid. Thanks so much for your sharing!
Thank you for sharing this amazing experience with most of us who have never seen the northern lights! I am so glad your family had the opportunity to enjoy God’s spectacular creation.
Just fabulous!!!!! Alaska is on my “to go” list for the express purpose of seeing the northern lights (among other sites). Thank you, Joseph, for sharing your talent with us.
A few months ago, we prayed that we would be able to see the Northern Lights when our Grandma came out to visit! Guess what? We did! 🙂
Wow. I’m just speechless! Wow. Thank you for capturing that beauty for all to enjoy. I can only imagine it was even better in person!
WOW!! Another amazing creation by our Lord!!! Thank you for sharing these wonderful pictures with us.
Blessings, Patti M. 🙂
WOW!! That is cool! 🙂
That is so awesome that you got to see the Northern Lights. I was praying that it would be there for you all. Also, you got to see the moose up North. Are they not so big? Looks like you had a great time. My James said to say “HI” to all the Maxwells!!
Would you happen to remember your exposure for these photos? They look rather surreal. I love them! They would make good photos to put a scripture on if they aren’t too grainy on enlargement. Just an idea!
