It’s a little before 7 a.m., and we are on our way north! Our goal is to get to Twin Falls, Idaho tonight, but first, we need to successfully make it over Donner Pass. It is currently open. They had a ton of snow and wind there yesterday, and more expected today. We would be grateful for your prayers as we go over the Pass. I will try to keep you all updated as long as we have cell phone signal, and of course, I’ll take pictures too.
Sarah for the rest
“I will lift up mine eyes unto the hills, from whence cometh my help. My help cometh from the Lord, which made heaven and earth” (Psalms 121:1-2).
May the Lord bring you safely through the Pass despite the weather conditions. Please look after Steve as he drives giving him the sense of confidence yet caution as he drives north with his family. Very happy to hear that the conference went well. By the photos, it looked like a good crowd and it must be such an encouragement to see the interest, enthusiasm, knowledge and love of God that everyone left with on their way home. We pray that fruit of the Holy Spirit will grow within their hearts. Again, we can only be grateful for your ministry. 🙂
praying for safe travels
I was praying for your family on this day. We too were traveling through the northern California {I-5} area, and were inundated with massive amounts of snow. We had heard an highway informational alert that there was even more snow towards the east; where your family was traveling. Praise the Lord for His protection during tough travel situations!
