Since we arrived in town early, we had time to rest and prepare for the conference. Set up went very smoothly on Friday, and our music practice went well too.
The Lord brought families in from all over the area, and quite a few stayed in hotels. Friday evening, during music, the group was extremely interactive, and it was a blessed time. Saturday dawned, windy and chilly, but the rain held off. The church offered a free continental breakfast at 8:15, and many families arrived and enjoyed the food. People were ready to start promptly at 9, and we dove right into the day.
Our group of young ladies and girls were exceptionally attentive and well-engaged. The young guys did well too! Hearts were so open, and we were thrilled to hear how the Lord was working in lives throughout the weekend. Truly, our prayer is that the Lord would bring lasting fruit.
We were so blessed by the warm welcome of The Home Church. Thank you all for inviting us!

“But now they desire a better country, that is, an heavenly: wherefore God is not ashamed to be called their God: for he hath prepared for them a city” (Hebrews 11:16).
Looks like a wonderful time. I am looking forward to when you all are coming to Penn. and speaking at the homeschool convention.
May I ask, where did you all find Mary and Anna’s long skirts (shown in these pictures)? Did you purchase them or make them? They are so cute and I have been looking for something like this for my older daughter.
Blessings,
Becky

Yes, we are looking forward to it too!
The skits were from Christopher & Banks. We can often get the skirts on sale for only $15 or less. 🙂

Thank you all for coming! You’re very right, it was amazing! I’m sure the people here at The Home Church will be buzzing about you and your family for quite awhile. May God watch over all of you during your travels and wonderful ministry!
P.S. Don’t drive like me. 😉
