Williams, Arizona

We stopped for the night in Williams, hoping to see the Grand Canyon today. But, after praying about it, Dad felt that we needed more time on a new session we’re trying to finish up. Dad has always encouraged us that ministry takes priority over the side items, such as sightseeing, so it was decided to not go to the Grand Canyon. Ministry is more important! So, work is being done on the session, and we’ll be driving to Needles, California, tonight.

RV parks are not quite like hotels, and we are well below the average age. The mornings are quiet, and we enjoy talking to anyone who is out taking a leisurely stroll. I thought you might enjoy a few pictures from this morning. It’s a stunningly gorgeous morning!

  1. Great pictures, Sarah! I’m sorry y’all didn’t get to see the Grand Canyon; those would have been awesome pictures! But I do agree that ministry does come first.

  2. Enjoying the pictures and keeping your family in my prayers! Will y’all be headed to New Jersey sometime this year? I missed you last year during your trip to Edison, N.J. Would love to meet the Maxwell family!

We are going to be in PA, but we don’t have any plans yet for NJ.

  3. That dog and our dog, Tess are so alike. Although Tess would have shattered the RV’s windows with her snoring. She weighs 17 pounds and snores like a 400 pound pig!
It is very encouraging to know other believers who forsake temporal pleasures for the eternal joy of knowing God personally and seeking His will.
    Praying for you all,

  4. Today we just got our cd of you guys, we are totally thrilled!

Anna, I play fiddle, too, I like your style!

Jesse, I hope to play my mandolin as good as you play yours!

John and Sarah, my little toddler brother LOVES your banjo!

We enjoy singing with you all, did you know you have an accent? 🙂
