The Close of a Weekend

Well, sort of. šŸ™‚ We just finished up our conference, in the midst of some challenging circumstances. What we didn’t say yesterday, was that we were very close to one of the wildfires here in Oklahoma. So close, in that we were watching the smoke creep closer and closer, ash bits were flying through the air, and it was possible we would have to evacuate. We prayed, and prayed, and the wind died down, and the fire died down, and the conference went as planned! More later. We’ll be doing a church service here in Oklahoma City tomorrow morning. Oh, and don’t forget y’all to change your clocks tonight!

Sarah for the rest

Thanks, Dave, for this picture from last night.

  1. Wow! What an amazing protection from God! You know, I wonder if God gives us those kind of situations for us to see how far we are willing to go with Him and follow His leading. Praying for you as you live on His edge!

Don’t worry, up here in Canada, you wont have to worry about fires. The only fires we have are the ones heating up our house!

  2. OH!!! OH!!! OH!!! I am terrified of fire! It would have been hard for me to stay calm! Wow, did the Lord protect you!!! Aren’t you glad that we have the Lord?! Glad that the people who came were still able to be ministered to.

Praying for you! God bless! Rebecca K.
