The Arrival

The first copies of Simple Faith—Trust and Obey arrived here at the church in Ft. Smith. The rest of the shipment will be at our house on Monday. So, this is not the official announcement yet, just a little preview. Then, I received two copies of Autumn Days, for my final approval before the books are bound. We expect to be able to announce Simple Faith—Trust and Obey and Autumn Days Tuesday or Wednesday.

We were blessed to be able to share here in Ft. Smith through music, testimony, and Building a Vision tonight. We look forward to tomorrow!

Here it is: the first copy!
It's almost there :-).

“I will praise the name of God with a song, and will magnify him with thanksgiving” (Psalms 69:30).

  1. Rebekah is re-reading all the Moody books right now in preparation for Autumn Days. She and the older 2 boys are with Daddy right now helping a missionary down south, but when she gets home, I’ll show her this picture, Sarah! 🙂 The cover is beautiful! And so are you! Praying for your trip!

  2. YES! YES! YES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! THAT’S GREAT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Praying for you all!
That’s sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo exciting! Can’t wait to read Autumn Days and can’t wait to hear the CD! By the way, your title for the music CD is a very wise choice! Thank you!

    God bless! Rebecca K.

    P.S.
Am thrilled about the September 16 & 17th conference!

  3. They look really great both the CD & the book! How exciting & wonderful to hold the work of your hands! We along with many others await for the release of these. Congratulations & safe travels.

  4. I can’t wait to tell the nieces about the new Moody book! Or maybe I won’t tell them– I’ll surprise them with it at some point. 🙂

  5. The cover for Autumn Days looks so beautiful. My 9 year old daughter has re-read the first 4 books at least 10 times (actually I am sure many more times than that!). I will go to say goodnight to her and laugh and laugh when I see her reading one of the books again. She must have parts memorized by now 🙂 I am excited to read this one to her, but I better be fast or she will take it and read it without me. It is such a blessing to get to read about a family similar to your own in lifestyle, but one that is ahead of you so that you can glean from. I believe that is why it appeals to her as a tender hearted little girl.

  6. Yes, I agree with Jennifer D. Sarah’s books have been like a peer group that doesn’t exist for us in real life. My children are definitely influenced in positive ways way by the “Moodys”.
We are also anticipating the CD release. We are excited to see how God works through all the Maxwells’ ministries.

  9. Well done! I’m very excited about the next Moodys book – I wonder how long it will take to get to the UK?! My 7yo daughter has been awaiting this with great anticipation and is re-reading the series in preparation. Congratulations, Sarah!

  10. Hi! Just curious, are you going to add the “Autumn Days” book to your collection of all of the Moody books that you can buy at a reduced price? I’ve been waiting to buy all of the books at once!

What a feeling of accomplishment for you, Sarah, to hold the book you wrote in your hands! Congrats!

    With love from NJ
