I realized that we haven’t posted any normal “life” posts recently. We are busy with projects right now before our upcoming trips the end of this month and March/April. The last night of mixing went well, and the CD will be mastered on Monday, Lord willing. It’s definitely been a project!
You know, it is such a joy to be living for the Lord. It doesn’t mean life will go smoothly–we know from our set of challenges recently–but the joy comes from our relationship with Jesus.
Enjoy the snow pictures (below) Joseph took this morning. Kansas is beautiful right now, and cold (about 2 degrees late morning).
Sarah for the rest
Thank you, Joseph, for the photos!
Oh yes the snow! Here in the Northeast we are being hit so hard this winter! Every week we have one kind of storm or another. This week it was an ice storm! I am convinced we will not see grass until April! So looking forward to the CD! I already know it is going to be one of my favorites! Blessings to all of you, stay safe and warm! : )
There is forcast for MORE snow here in AL! We already had a lot, ( 8 inches) a little after Christmas ( we did have a white Christmas). Amazing!
Great snow photos — some of them look like frosting on a cake (were they drifts or how did that happen?). Hope you all are staying warm — for once it’s not us here in Seattle paralyzed by snow, it’s the other half of the country! I think your family used to live here so know what I’m talking about!

Yes, the snow is in drifts.

Praise the Lord!!!! Beautiful pictures!!! Wonderful about the CD!!!! Can’t wait to hear it!!!!!!!!!!!!! Stay warm and enjoy the snow!!!!!!!!!!!
God bless! Rebecca K.
Hi! We have too much snow and too many trees for the snow to get all drifty like that. How neat for you! Our snow is more like piles and tunnels and mounds that mark important former landmarks, like mailboxes and landscape plantings…
Wow! Those pictures are incredible. Thank you for sharing. I enjoyed reading a “normal life” update. Praying for y’all as you serve the Lord…
So is that the effect of the wind blowing the snow, it being wavy like that?
It reminds me of the beach.
Not much snow here this winter, Praise God. I’m a Vancouver snow-wuss and proud of it!

Yes, we had strong wind with the snow, and there was a layer of snow underneath it, and a slight layer of ice.

Beautiful photos! That’s what it looks like up here in the interior of Alaska. The only difference is that our snow starts in October and stays until the end of April! 🙂
Isn’t the snow beautiful? Your pictures are wonderful.
Those are beautiful pictures. I love the wavy texture of the snow!
Beautiful snow! We woke up to some of the same this morning here in Texas. God Bless
Johnna
Pretty pictures!
I’m new to this site, and am so grateful for the blessings your family is sharing openly and lovingly with others. Your conversation is good to the use of edifying! What a rare and refreshing breath of air! My profound thanks to you for being bold in your faith, for standing firm and my profound thanks to God for working within your hearts to do His perfect will. Well done!
Wow, that’s a lot of snow!! Hope everyone stays safe!
I wanted to let you know that I was substituting in an elementary school on an enrichment day that the 1st through 3rd grade has once a week. On this day, they get to go to different classes with other students of different ages to have math, reading, music or art class. The children have two different classes that they attend on this day and they were all wearing something similar to a ChorePack to remind them of which class they were to go to for first block and second block!! 🙂 🙂
Wow those pictures are pretty special! We don’t get snow like that in Australia very often (if ever). It’s hard to imagine. The diversity in the creation & beauty that the LORD has made is so amazing. Hope you are all keeping warm with help with your fitness program. Trust the mastering goes well on Monday night for the CD – how great it will be for you to hear it all put together & arranged so well on the final copy!
