Ten Years Ago

(L-R), John, Jesse, Mary, Anna, and Joseph

This picture was taken ten years ago, on our first three-week ministry trip! Pretty cute, weren’t they?

“Lo, children are an heritage of the Lord: and the fruit of the womb is his reward” (Psalms 127:3).

  1. What handsome young men and lovely young ladies!

Little children have this sweetness about them… I miss my children being young and long for the day when I will have a grandchild to play with.

Thank you so much for the pick me up!

  2. Greetings from a balmy North

  3. Awwwww!!!!!!! They are all sooooooooooo cute! Sometimes Mom misses us being little. I do too sometimes. Ten years ago!

  4. That’s adorable! So sweet. Makes me again think that mine are all going to be “big” like you all in no time…now I’m happy and sad all at the same time! πŸ™‚ Thank you for sharing! And I’m so glad you are all feeling better!

  5. Ten years! Wow! Time flys quickly! I’m glad everyone’s feeling better! How’s the book coming?

  6. Adorable! The picture reminds me how quickly time goes b/c you all look so much older now! It is easy to forget that when your in the middle of raising young ones but we need to redeem the time b/c it goes by so fast!

  7. They all look very cute indeed & so little. I have wondered at what ages your family ministered ‘on the road’ so this answers that wondering. Glad to hear everyone is making a good recovery. If often takes a while for strength to be re-gained after such an illness so we hope that it won’t take too much longer for all to be back at 100%. Great to hear that you are able to be up to editing the book Sarah. How exciting to be at that stage & anticipate getting it published to the final copy & then distributing it to all the eager readers you have waiting.
Jesus bless & restore you each one of you.

  8. Amazing. My first thought was how quickly our children will be grown, as they are now in the age range of those in your picture. (Very cute picture, by the way.)

  9. Absolutely adorable! Would love to see more pics of you all when you were younger!

    With love from NJ

  10. How darling! Thank you for sharing this photo. I’m glad to hear that you are feeling better. I had a terrible case of the stomach flu last year, but I’ve been spared so far this year.

    Take care and God bless!

  11. Wow… what’s amazing – almost creepy – is how much they still look exactly the same. It’s like they just… shrunk. Do Maxwells toddlers have smaller heads (proportionally)? I wonder if that gives them a more “mini-adult” look.

    God bless you all!

  12. How cute!!! Are your parents three youngest blessings on the cover of Homeschooling with a Meek and Quiet Spirit?

The above pic is so sweet. I’m hoping that when you are in our area later this winter (is it still late January?) we’ll be able to share that we are getting a new blessing. Keep praying please. πŸ™‚

The picture on the front cover of Meek and Quiet isn’t of our three youngest.
We are still going out West in March/April. Our schedule doesn’t have anything yet for Oregon, http://www.titus2.com/w-speaking-schedule.htm, but maybe some dates will fill in.

  13. You all are adorable! Can I ask why Nathan and Christopher are not in the picture?

    Thanks for sharing.

Christopher took the picture, and I don’t know where Nathan was at the moment. I guess it was just a five younger picture.

  14. Very cute! That’s how I remember the younger Maxwell kids looking when I ordered my first copy of MOTH. Amazing how fast time goes by.

  15. Awwwww! It’s hard to imagine that they were so little once (although I’m sure Teri remembers it well! πŸ™‚ ). I think it’s really neat that you shared this photo — a good reminder to us of where you’ve been and that your children look like the ages of my children now and look what lovely young adults they have turned out to be. Would LOVE to see a photo of the older 3 if you come across one you’d like to share. What fun!

  16. I was looking at last years schedule. Oops. Guess I need to let our homeschool group know about it today. They were all excited to go see you at the Wednesday night service.
