Happy New Year and Prayer Request

It’s with joy that we look forward to this new year and what the Lord will do. Last night, we had a special time of prayer as a family, lifting up many things on our hearts. We are grateful for the opportunity the blog affords in being able to share the Lord’s working in our family and ministry. Thank you for being faithful prayer supporters.

As a side note, we would appreciate prayer because our family will be participating in the memorial service Monday morning for a young adult man who unexpectedly died earlier this week. Please pray for the Lord Jesus to do a mighty work in the lives of those who attend. Dad, John, and Christopher will lead the service and Joseph, Anna, Jesse, and Mary will be singing.

Life is short, and may we each live as if today is our last.

Happy New Year!

Sarah for the rest

“For since the beginning of the world men have not heard, nor perceived by the ear, neither hath the eye seen, O God, beside thee, what he hath prepared for him that waiteth for him” (Isaiah 64:4).

  1. Happy new year! Will try to remember to pray for the memorial service.

Beautiful family picture! You matching ladies look beautiful along with the beautiful autumn colors!

Can’t wait to read new Moody book, can’t wait to buy, listen, and sing along
with your music CD, and hope to see you this year if the Lord works something out!

    God bless! Rebecca K.

  2. That is an awesome pictureI love the lack, red, while, and fall colors. Was that taken at a park, or is it just a backdrop?

At the park the day we did all the family pictures.

  3. Thank you for all you do. We are grateful for your blog as well. Our children were so excited to receive the Moody books for Christmas this year. 🙂

  4. Maxwell Family:

Your family and the family of the decedent will be in my thoughts and prayers on Monday morning. Two years ago when we burried my husband at the age of 40, the priest reminded me that we are on earth for only a short time before God calls us home. Some he calls home sooner than others. The family of this young man may not remember this at their time of sorrow, but they will take comfort in having your gamily there.

    God Bless to all.

  5. We are praying for you as you comfort those who are mourning. We pray for God’s Holy Spirit to soften the hearts of those who need to realize their need for a savior. May God bless you all as you minister in Jesus’ name.
