A Marathon Night

It was a full night for those recording, and by night, yes, we mean from 5 p.m. until around 5:45 a.m. The evening recording times made it affordable. God provided an excellent engineer for us to work with: his skills were incredible, and we really appreciated him.

Dad, Joseph, John, Anna, Jesse, and Mary were incredible troopers! Here are some pictures. They were able to record the first three songs with vocals and two more with just instrumentals.

The Lord’s Hand was very evident upon the whole session–we are grateful for your prayers.

“Make a joyful noise unto the Lord, all ye lands. Serve the Lord with gladness: come before his presence with singing” (Psalms 100:1-2).

A Little Preview

Saturday evening, it was a joy to celebrate Anna’s graduation from high school. Yes, it’s mid-year, but she worked hard to graduate early, instead of May 2011. Here’s just a small preview until we do the real post.

Rejoicing in Jesus,
Sarah

Receiving her diploma.

Special gifts were given.

“Therefore, my brethren dearly beloved and longed for, my joy and crown, so stand fast in the Lord, my dearly beloved” (Philippians 4:1).
