Christmas is always a special time to gather as a family. Below you’ll find some pictures from Friday and Saturday. It was a joy to be together, and Friday evening, we had a mini-Christmas program together, reading God’s Word, singing, and putting the nativity together. Little ones add a special spark to the celebration.
It snowed a little bit at the beginning of our celebration (Friday morning). As Abby was giving out presents, she would hurry to the individual, saying in her cute two-year-old voice, "I have a present for you (insert relative's name) ."Â Abby helped Nathan and Melanie wrap presents, because they wanted to instill in her a love for giving, just as my parents have done with each of us.I gave Christopher and Anna Marie their overdue wedding gift: a photo album (digital and then printed) of Christopher's life thus far!Nathan and Melanie made a photo calendar for Dad and Mom.Grandma playing doctor with Abby. This post will not lack for Bethany pictures.Aunt Sarah and BethanyNathanNotice the bib?Joseph designed a new banner to be hung in our entryway--it was a total surprise for Dad.Playing with Uncle Joeshesh (aka Joseph)Sarah and MaryHelping in the kitchen. We had a special time together in God's Word and singing Christmas Eve night. The two A'sAbby helped placing each person in the nativity. Each nativity piece was wrapped in tissue paper with a number attached to it. Thank you to those who have been praying for the Moody book project. The book is written, and I’m fully in the editing stage. I’m very grateful for the prayers as I desire every word written in the book to be what the Lord Jesus wants it to be.

“And the shepherds returned, glorifying and praising God for all the things that they had heard and seen, as it was told unto them” (Luke 2:20).
Thanks for sharing. Your family is such a blessing.
I always enjoy these pictures…even though my side of the family doesn’t celebrate Christmas but my in-laws does it always nice to look at other family on how they celebrate this holidays. I always learn alot. Thanks for sharing.
Thank you for sharing your Christmas activities with us! I especially enjoyed viewing the cute pictures of Abby and Baby Bethany. 🙂 ~ Being with family at this special time of year is so precious. I was blessed to continue my tradition of reading the Christmas story (from Luke 2) on Christmas Eve to all my children (which included my new son-in-law this year!). 🙂 Hugs from Georgia, Patti M.
Thank you for sharing!! We LOVE the banner and have been praying about doing that very thing in our new house! Either those or those adhesive letters. The banner looks great! Love from the R. Family 🙂
Looks like you had a wonderful, fun, blessed Christmas!
Thanks for sharing the pictures! What a neat banner! My sister and I really enjoy wrapping gifts! I think the photo book and calenders were great gifts-speaking from someone who likes pictures!-grin
God bless! Rebecca K.

Thank you for sharing the link to the Christmas program. This sounds like a tradition I could start with my family. Sincerely, Johnna B
Those pictures are great!!! I know all of you play instruments so did some of you play the music or was it just voices? I’m excited about the book! >>>>>>>>>>>> Just piano accompaniment. Steve
By the way, did something happen to Christopher’s finger? >>>>>>>>>> Funny you noticed. He jammed it on a floor joist when he was somewhat forcefully, reaching up to do pull-ups during his exercise time. Steve
For me the first picture was so beautiful. It has just cooled down here is AZ to a nice 65. So being able to partially see a white Christmas was a treat. 🙂 Thank you for sharing, everyone looks so peaceful and content. There is a true joy there. I love the banner, is that Joseph’s talents?? Have a great week. —— Yes, Joseph designed the banner :-). Sarah —–

Lovely to see how you spent some of your Christmas. God’s blessings as you move into the New Year!
We had a nativity scene for the first time this year and I’m looking forward to making it part of our little family’s Christmas tradition each year. My daughter enjoyed adding pieces to it (we started the week before Christmas Eve with one or two characters a day) and I love that it became the focus point of our decorations.
I truly enjoyed the glimpse into your Christmas celebration. Thank you again so much for sharing. I always look forward to your posts and pictures, they are a blessing to me indeed!
Truly a joy to have this glimpse into your Christmas. I love the picture picture of your dad (I think it may be #6) and the huge smile on his face–a man who loves his wife, children, daughters in law, grandchildren. His love his shining through his beautiful smile.
The little girls are so precious and I love seeing their little holiday outfits. Seeing Abby share in the giving is a joy.
You are a most beautiful family and it is a blessing to call you good friends.
All our love to you, Mrs. Mari, Mr. Phil, and Grandma Ruby.
Thank you for sharing your Christmas celebration with us. I printed the Christmas program and look forward to adding it to next year’s Christmas celebration. We have a manger with a baby Jesus figure that is not attached. When we catch our girls in an act of selflessness, we tell them to add a piece of hay(dried grass from the yard) to Jesus’ bed. Happily our Jesus figurine had a cozy bed on Christmas day. Blessings, Kim C and Family
The pictures are wonderful! Sarah and Mary’s shirts are very cute!
