Some Pictures

We had a wonderful Thanksgiving: the day passed quickly with projects and Anna and Mary decorated the house for Christmas. Late afternoon, we ate a traditional dinner, and then we had a special time in God’s Word together.

We have so much to be grateful for–it is truly amazing how much the Lord Jesus has blessed each one of us with. May we express our gratefulness to HIM and to those we are around on a day-to-day basis.

Blessings,
Sarah
P.S. – Thank you for continuing to pray for the book project–the Lord is really blessing!

Joseph and John surprised us with a ham this year, and I think the general consensus was ham is way better than turkey! The boys also spruced up the ham, using an injector.
Decorating the mantle.
Cutting the ham.
Workin' on gravy.
The stuffing guy!

be thankful unto him, and bless his name” (Psalms 100:4).

We had a great surprise today when my oldest son, in NYC, showed up to surprise me. His brother knew he was coming but they kept it secret from me. I am very Thankful to spend the next few days with both my children.

  5. I agree with the previous poster — that’s awesome that the men were working in the kitchen and enjoying it! What fun! I’m curious — what does one inject a ham with?
    ——-
A mixture of honey and I’m not sure what else :-). Maybe butter?!

I had to miss Thanksgiving this year as I have been traveling in the Middle East since August and will return to the United States sometime after Christmas.
