Thank You

Thank you all for your prayers as I’ve embarked on the journey of the next Moody book. It now feels “real”! After so much time spent on the outline, it’s thrilling to actually write. One particular family (ya’ll know who you are :-)), helped me with tons of information for a section of the book that I’ve not actually experienced before. They made it all so clear, I can’t wait to write that section tomorrow. Dad and I also are going on a morning trip somewhere next week for another chapter in the book. I’ve truly felt the prayers, and I’m grateful for the enthusiasm too.

Thank you!

“We are bound to thank God always for you, brethren, as it is meet, because that your faith groweth exceedingly, and the charity of every one of you all toward each other aboundeth” (2 Thessalonians 1:3).

Be joyful always; pray continually; give thanks in all circumstances, for this is God’s will for you in Jesus Christ.

  2. Yeah! We all love the Moody books and we are so excited that you are writing another one. Thanks for all your hard work and dedication to writing a book that brings glory to God.

  3. Will continue praying. Glad you’re enjoying the writing part, that’s one of my favorite parts when doing stories.

Can’t wait to read the book! God bless you and guide you in your writing!

Have a blessed Thanksgiving! Rebecca K.

Enjoying the new family pictures! They’re absolutely beautiful!

  4. Hi Sarah!
Today we had some family over and it was wonderful to be able to show them one of the moody books (your most recent one) in which we were a test family for. Your books are wonderful and it is a great testimony to your family’s productivity for the Lord. We are also very excited about your new upcoming book.
    With much love and encouragement,

  5. Sarah, We are so excited for you to have this opportunity to write your newest book. You are in our prayer book for many prayers and this one is especially fun to pray for, as I find myself describing you to our Lord and your books, as if he doesn’t know LOL You are a wonderful godly young woman and we are thankful to call you friend. Our prayers are with you always.

Have a Happy Thanksgiving, and give our love to all your family–Granddad and Grandma too–I loved meeting them.

    Blessings, Mrs. Mari

  6. Dear Sarah, Tonight I started to read Summer with the Moodys aloud to my three daughters (Priscilla 13 yrs, Brenda 12 yrs, and Nicole almost 10). Monday I said a sweet little prayer for you. I am excited about the writing adventure you are on and your loving family being there for you.

    In His Love,
Thanks for sharing–and praying! 🙂 My family is an incredible encouragement and support, for which I’m grateful.

  7. I recently purchased a set of Moody books for my two nieces. We have been reading them aloud together and we are really enjoying them. I’m sure the girls will be happy to hear that there’s a new Moody book in progress!

Sarah, have you ever considered adding a workshop for aspiring young writers to your family’s conferences? It would be an amazing experience for older homeschooling students to learn about the writing and publishing process from someone who has already been down that path several times.

Best wishes for you as you work on your new book!
Thank you. Actually, we have more topics than we have time.

    God bless.

  8. It’s interesting to read about the different stages (and all the work) required to make this book a reality. Thank you for sharing some of the process with us!
Have you had specific training in writing or has it developed through your experiences with the previous books?

    Many blessings,

Yes, twelve years of homeschooling. (smile)

  9. Just wondering, how did you arrive at the name Moody for your book family?
    Sarah picked it.

  10. Hi Sarah 🙂 Good luck with the book. We have just started reading Summer with the Moodys’ with our little girl, 4 years old. She just LOVES it (so do we :)). Thank you for blessing our family with your books.
    In Him, Sherid
